Rovers got a get out of jail free card at Swindon, they didn't produce a goal from open play despite dominating for 90% of the game, and relied on a stupid handball to get all 3 points, The goal from the corner was the 11th attempt at a corner, having not produced a decent attempt to score from the previous 10. Second in the league yes, but reasons to be far from complacent. Set piece coaching is definitely an area for improvement, and a quicker movement towards goal when in possession is needed. The great thing about Rovers is that we all know GM and Cliff will be on the ball tomorrow and Monday and things will improve yet again against Bromley
Our corners yesterday were very good and looked a threat all the time from, both goals coming from corners and also a few other chances as hound said from Olowu and Gibson.

Wasn’t a 10/10 performance but there were very good spells and deserved the win, even better to do it in the last minute as will be huge for confidence, especially for Ironside who I can see getting back to last seasons form after a big goal.

Also very good to see Maxwell back and looked his usual self in the cameo he had.

Sacked their manager and appointed Ian Holloway. Desperate times.
