Drove away from the stadium last night after going to the gym and couldn’t help but think how good it would look lit up with LED lights around the outside of the roof, I know it’s been mentioned before and would be costly but just my personal pov

For anyone with bottomless pockets. This was nine years ago, I presume many others will have it now.

I pitched the idea to the club on at least 2 occasions, but the sheer cost has always proved prohibitive. We did make some changes though to reflect the DRFC heritage and choice of colour.

If memory serves me correct I also suggested that the big screen should be on the outside of the stadium, much like the one at Derby, so we could run adverts and promote the Rovers 24 hours a day.

Appreciate the costs but the external advertising is a cracking idea

Sponsorship at L2 level is usually limited to.local companies who's owners are supporters of the club and are proud to have a banner there or a box etc. I would put 50quid on it that not one commercial supporter of this club gets its fee back in gained work. A flash tele will make zero difference.

The lights are providing the required lux levels, why do we need to spend money on more?
