RTID.Noticed that, if it was intended, it’s very clever, Keepers thinking, not seen him take a pen… quite a distraction.Just seen a photo on X re the first goal. Ironside is basically forcing the 2 defenders forward who are just in front of Olowu as he nips in to head home the first goal. Again if that’s intended it’s very clever. Olowu and McGrath very very good today.

My mate did it for me when we played for Wheatley Boys. The penalty area was so muddy he ‘drew’ a cross with the back of his boot where the penalty spot should have been before handing me the ball.It took 20 minutes to retrieve the ball from the trees behind the goal before play could recommence. So near yet so far.We lost 1-0. Happy days.

Always did the same, caught the keepers eye, loads of fidgeting and nervous glances one way. Then put it in the other corner. Got into double figures a couple of seasons and never missed one. I played at the back and always loved when I had scored and my striker hadn't. Funny int it. I was our penalty taker and I always put the ball down and got myself set and wouldn't take my eyes off the keeper, no matter how much noise and buffoonery was going on.I never missed, not one penalty.
