So, after the dust has settled. For me there’s a mixture of things happening. Firstly, I do believe we have a great squad but we just haven’t worked out the formula yet to get the best out of them. Secondly, every team has now got the gist of Moly on the wing. Every time he gets the ball now, they double up on him straight away. That’s the price he pays for been one of the best players in the league. Thirdly, we don’t have that natural ball carrying midfielder, bursting forward committing defenders and creating space. This result, if we’re honest, we’ve seen before already this season. Trying to play down the sides of a low block just doesn’t work for us. I would like to see Sbarra given a shot or more radically, Moly playing central with Hurst down the left and Gibson down the right. Moly and Kelly in the middle would have skill set to commit defenders creating space for both wingers or through balls for the forwards to latch onto.
For me, that central area is the conundrum, fix that and I think we would look totally different.

Any formation which gets players in the box times many when the balls crossed there's only one two on a good day to aim for.
