Just found the comment. Can any club who believes the Luke Molyneux hype please take him off our hands in January please Hate seeing reactions like this from players when they play ok. Back patting each other on twitter and all that b*llocks. f**k me, patting each other on the back for playing well in the 4th division is like patting someone on the back for winning a beauty contest in Rotherham. Then they go into hiding when the going is tough. “Blocking out the noise” there is no noise mate. You are not David Beckham. Not Moly specifically but footballers in general. Just keep your nut down and keep plodding on. No blocking out of the noise when their sphincter went in the playoff semi final second leg was there?

I was one (not on twitter or any of that nonsense) that was quite critical of his performance last Tuesday night on here. It wasn’t overboard, but his crossing and general decision making against Bromley was poor. Needs to learn to take the rough with the smooth. He’d get much more attention for his performances if he was a couple of divisions higher, that’s for sure.
To be honest I think it's more about how good the Donny away support is.GM made a point of saying they could be heard before the lads walked out onto the pitch.Well done to those that went and supported the boys so well

I was watching on Rovers+, and when Moly scored it seemed like an explosion of sound, somehow very different to what I’ve heard for other goals. I remember thinking at the time, what a sound that was.

I agree with the sentiment but to mock peopleFor being league 2 footballers is crazy! I think people fail to realise how good a player you need to be to play at north east counties level, never mind conference north, never mind league 2.

Gaz once said league 2 players should be embarrassed to call themselves professionals (or something similar) so it’s not the first time. It’s a really strange way to view things, unless he’s just on the wind up.I do agree with him on this one though. If Luke has posted this because on one fans comment then it’s a little bit odd. He’s loved here.

He’s loved here. You obviously have to have a decent level of ability to play L2 football but most of these lads are a lot closer to being amateur players than top players. I just think sometimes players at this level get a bit above themselves.
Luke Molyneux is an excellent Lg2 player and will be decent in Lg1 with us next year. I'd give my right nut to be good enough to play in Lg2 and to experience being a pro-player.But, the point is well made - lads at this level are closer to non-league than the prem - even Moly. Look at the trajectory of the lads we've had last few years - RS Williams and Barlow both came through at ManU and now they're national league or below. The only player in recent times to get to the prem is Jacob Ramsey, even our best player in that time Ben Whiteman hasn't made it to the prem.
Well all the players got booed after the Bromley game which is a bit of a disgrace from "fans"
