Second worst home record in League Two. No side has lost more than them at home this season (five losses) and in only seven home games. Only two sides have scored fewer goals. They’ve scored once in their last three home games.

My mate Harrogate Rover would probably say coming up against "Doctor Rovers" will cure their poor run!
A place we have never had an easy game and a club I hope have a better season going forward apart from their games against us. Sitting second from bottom of the division it would be easy to think it would be an easy game for us, but will no doubt turn out to be as difficult as we have had all season against a team at home fighting for every point to get away from the bottom of the division, a situation we were in at this time last year and we can be held up to any team down there as an example of how quickly luck and form can change the fortunes of a club, I should also add good management skills and recruitment.. Having won only one and drawn one and losing five of their league games at home while conceding twelve goals in the process again it would be easy for us to think it easy, until you remember our age old knack of getting teams on bad runs back on track, a knack we have had for years. After the two home draws, if you don't win don't lose not a bad thing, and to say the least on the end of some bizarre refereeing decisions in the last two games pressure has mounted on us to get a result to keep pressure on the top sides, and better finishing in front of goal would go a long way to putting things right. To be fair we have played well in the two drawn games, and it would be churlish to blame any individual, it happens in football and any other sport really and I for one am happy where and how we have played the game. if anything we have missed that unknown factor lady luck, and most teams have games like that in a season, but in a sport where mental frailty is never far away from the best of players and transfers to the crowd we now need to just have faith in what we are doing, keep doing it and things should come through our little blip if a blip is what it is. Now is the time for our excellent management team, to like last season step up and be counted and drive the team on back to their best form and the players wearing the shirt to fight to drive us on, although there is not a lot wrong that as I said before a bit of luck would not put right. So enough rambling on from me, what do you think? am I looking through rose tinted glasses? can we get a much needed win? are you going to the game? would you make changes? Lot's to discuss please have your say.

We also won there on 29th NOV 2003 in our league 2 (called league 3 at that time ) in our promotion season. Not only were we promoted in those 2 seasons we were CHAMPIONS So we like winning in NOV at Brunton Park and when we do we win the league. 3rd time this season then?

Probably not, as likely to be postponed, so won't then be played in November.
Looks like we will have over 700 fans at Carlisle. That’s a fantastic effort from our supporters. 135 miles to Brunton Park from Campsall so 145 from The Eco Power. That’s A1 to Scotch Corner & A66 to Penrith & M6 to Carlisle route. The weather sounds as though it will be a wet afternoon. Possibly Sleet. Hopefully their covers will be good enough for -1c which is forecast now for Friday night.
Last time I went to Carlisle (the season they went down) we won 1-0. I got hit in the side of the head by a battery thrown by a little local scroat. A fast acting steward caught him.

They threw him in a dura-cell for the night.
The game I went to, LFW was the scorer.
