Hi, the area near the stadium perimeter is very dark after matches at the moment and all night games of course.  Thanks.

Could be because Tony Christie is a fan (I have heard anyway) and that he is a local man.
Plus it a really good sing a long number.

Change the music that they run out to at the start of the second half

Enter Sandman (if that’s what it is) does not work. (I appreciate that there will be Metallica fans about to shoot me down).
I’m not saying boys are back in town is the answer but something livelier and to get the crowd hyped would be better

It’s Triple Hs old theme music from WWE

For me the goal music is terrible, used to love Tom hark back in the day, especially when the players joined in the celebration

One subject I have raised with GB in the past is the unreserved seating in the south stand.
Many who go early, go straight to seats and thus do not spend money at the concourse bars. Also some again don’t go back to the concourse at half time because the seat they were sitting will be occupied by others. One possible suggestion I put to GB was possibly some blocks to be reserved, with rest unreserved.

That seems like it would be a nightmare to police.

We need decent and regular buses on Match Days. Its a longer walk from the train station when you are over 70.

Going back to reserved seating would be a step backwards in tge matchday experience and atmosphere

I think some Christmas lights around the exterior of the west and south stands would look great. ( red and white of course)
Obviously done properly and not some cheap ones from home bargains.

I drove past the sheff wednesday ground recently, and the effort they put
into their display is impressive. They've gone all blue and white and looks great, I hate to admit.

Which is exactly why we didn't do it in the first place. Initially we had talked about maybe 3 or 4 hundred seats in the middle block but it was apparent  that you'd have 'creep' from other sections without a massive stewarding operation.

Common sense prevailed.

Is the bus service no longer operational?

I was the one who instigated it in the first place but I haven't had anything to do with it in recent seasons. Does it need looking at again?

Five things I miss from days gone by
- signed stuff for sale in BVB (btw when did signed team photos go out of fashion- would love one)
- chance that someone sat close, ideally vegetarian, would win a tray of pies
- being able to park at outlet
- bagpipes on a night game
- team sheets readily available

Belle vue bar

Absolutely criminal the lack of seating in there.

In fact the far end from the entrance, you could easily make better use of that space.

Lick of paint, tables and chairs, a few more TV’s (and actually turn them on). You could probably make it into a bit of a sports bar area.

At the moment there’s a couple of rows of chairs packed in too close to each other, all looking at one tv. It’s so dull and boring.

You could easily spruce that area up and it wouldn’t cost the world.

Just going back to this. Having seen this VLOG from last night Fleetwood match, their bar (Jim's Bar) I think is something we should aspire to with the overall look together with the different types of seating, plus TVs etc.

6:15 mins in.

Lighting and even light projections is something we've considered in the past including quotes from specialist firms, and not just for Christmas, however, it seems we have fewer night matches these days, so the impact over a season would be limited, so we have to consider if the outlay is really worth it. It's one of those nice to haves.

Exactly the kind of thing I meant!
Genuinely I don’t think it would cost the world, just a bit of effort and desire.

At the moment it just looks like we can’t be arsed, throw a couple of rows of awkwardly positioned seats down, it’ll do.

Yes I remember you replying to my post at the time. I haven't been able to come a lot this season, but had no joy and walked each time. I think it's worth a query from you.

Many thanks

We also need to be very clear as to what is being asked here, most items on this list are customer service issues and should be dealt with as such. That's the correct channel.

I did find that Supporter Board meetings taken up with customer service issues was a waste of everybody's time, especially talking about nails in the car park!

The couple behind me in the west stand always leave a few minutes before the end to get first in the queue for the bus. They are sometimes still there when I walk to the car.

I'm going back to the early years of the Keepmoat, and a chap who used to squeeze past me on our row at every home game when he left 10 minutes before the end. When I asked him why he said that's because the bus left bang on the final whistle. That's why we created the partnership with First buses, and it all came out of that conversation.

I need to see what's happened.

Motorhead has been replaced by the reytons now I think on the music. I dont mind Red Smoke. The sound system is expensive but it needs sorting, struggle to hear the interviews.. also too loud at times.
decent P.A-would be an investment and provide a more pleasurable match day experience where music and information relaying  are concerned!

Yes, it's been discussed a few times. We did talk about an alternative way of doing things at our last meeting, it was just a suggestion but it may work. A few trials will be the way forward.

Just an observation that I also think is worth mentioning; the amount of litter in and around the trees/hedges around the whole stadium complex is a disgrace. It’s particularly bad around the 5 aside pitches and the giant skips (irony). I know it’s not a massive thing for some, but it just makes the area look tatty and not very well cared for. Not sure who is responsible for the landscaping areas around the stadium, but it certainly wouldn’t harm to get it cleaned up a bit

The wider definition of the Match-day Experience would include the problems some of us have in getting into Rovers+. Can the Shadow Board help there please and possibly also look at the team profile section? Click on the player’s picture and you get another page with just half a picture - nothing else. It really is not good enough.

Maybe email Liam Hoden, actually ask the shadow board to type the email for you  ;)

Couldn’t agree more.

The amount of litter in the hedgerows on the approach to the Stadium from XP school (is that what it is?) is disgusting.
Some people are just pig ignorant.

I think this is a good one for a fans’ initiative to organise a major litter-picking exercise.

Always thought the set up and Lincoln is always good for a pre match atmosphere. Got local burger vans and things outside the bar with a big large outdoor drinking area both home and away fans welcome.
