I think it’s a good draw. Down the road, plenty of transport options and a game that currently (who know where both will be in mid Jan) we can definitely win

We beat them last year in the League Cup away.
Our record v Hull in the Cups is good.

Yes I was at that FA cup defeat at Boothferry Park in 81. Yes we have a great chance of winning this game.
Hull are on a downer at present. Just sacked another manager. No doubt a new one will be in place very shortly.  The natives are not happy with the owners. Understatement.

4th away draw in a row for FA Cup

We seem to deal in sequences in the FA Cup, our last 13 draws have been 6 consecutive way, followed by 3 home, and now 4 away.

Either way it is only 3 at Home out of the last 13, which at a quick guess is about a 5% chance of less than 4 (378/8192 I think)

Considering only 1500 went to Bradford for a league game equally as close and easy to get to I'd be surprised if we doubled up for the 3rd round of the cup.

So Liverpool, Man City, Spurs, Chelsea,  Newcastle, Leeds are all going to lose to Accrington, Salford, Tamworth, Morecambe, Bromley, Harrogate etc etc & Arsenal and Man U can’t both lose as playing each other. Same with Villa v West Ham.

Lge cup/ fa cup no comparison imo.
Hull easy to get to.
The grant effect.
Winnable.
There is a possibility it gets tagged as a risk fixture and ends up with an early ko. Which would be a shame.
Or worse, a Fri night ko.
It won’t be on tv . Given the other draws.
Scunny are away on 11th Jan. Which helps humberside finest.
