Brentford

There was a guy on from Brentford on radio five this morning. Think he was the COO,

Anyway, he was saying that, there cat B season tickets (that’s the majority of seats) works out at £26 a game and they’ve frozen them for next year as they had risen this season.

He also said that they rotate a new home and away shirt alternatively over two years as they know that moneys tight for people.

In addition he said that they have made all junior away tickets £10 and done a deal with s rail company that gives you a percentage off on away travel.

It was really nice to hear a spokesperson for a Premier league club speaking about giving value for money to the fans especially in the week that Man Utd have stopped concession tickets and the cheapest anyone can see a game is £65.

Maybe it's cos Brentford know the lower leagues intimately. They're hardly one of the self centred, pampered, complacent and elitist PL clubs are they....

DRFc’s media officer joined Brentford just at the time they were about to inaugurate their new stadium .As part of the aging process, I forget  his name and that of Gavin's assistant   who took the CEO job at Lincoln City  .Rovers is a good nursery.
