Always makes me smile when managers come across as loving and caring for their club!

Erudite as ever.

Great word that it sounds like an Artificial Intelligence developed Superglue. Failing that a mineral whose hardness is measured on the Mohs scale  of mineral hardness  .......... after all Moore himself was hard as a rock

If I joined the PV fans website I would call myself "Erudite of Etruria"  :coat:

I do not miss his interviews one bit.

I love how he lures new fans in at the start, old fans warn new fans.

6 months later new fans….”well, the old fans did warn us”.

Thick as anything, I hope we batter them.

Sale of the century.
Darren sells Alfie May for £10,000. It was obvious to most of us that Alfie was developing into a decent player but not to Darren.

Find it all a bit passé this DM bashing. He was a top player for us and in my opinion a decent manager. He lived in the village when he played for Rovers and was a top lad, always friendly and sociable. Yeah he’s got a brummie accent, hilarious!

What's his accent got to do with owt? Can't say I've seen it mentioned anywhere.
I think most of our beef with him comes from all the noises he made when he got the manager's job here, the club's values align with mine, community bla bla bla, long term project bla bla & all the rest of it. Then Wednesday, probably the polar opposite of all those values with their fruit cake owner ripping his own fans off & paying wages when he's in the mood, wave a few quid at him & he's got the tracksuit on before we can even get an announcement out.
I hope we batter em & he gets dogs abuse again.

What you meant to say as a football manager? These days it’s all about filling social media with tripe and that’s what it is, every manager does it. I love football with all my being but manager interviews, player interviews, it’s painful. They can’t say what they really think because they’re not allowed, what’s the point. When you’re asked about recruitment, it’s about due diligence, beliefs , ethics, etc, etc, is it b*llocks, it’s who can you get in the building, before a bigger fish; Barnsley, Rotherham spy it and take him off you. Same with managers,  if you’ve got a family and someone offers you 3 times your wages you’re gone or your Mrs is gone, it’s the shit world we live in.
Things were on the turn anyway for DM and Rovers in my opinion at that point in time. When Wednesday came in for him, I personally was quite surprised but as much as I hate Wednesday, professionally for any manager it is a huge advancement. Every manager would’ve made the same decision, just as GM did.

Having said all this I hope we hammer them tomorrow but I won’t be shouting dogs abuse at him because he’s a nice bloke and as former Rovers player of the season, deserves some respect.

Moore is an unscrupulous Judas. He got pelters at the away game and hopefully will get well deserved pelters tomorrow.

So why don't we have the same feelings towards all our other ex-managers then?
They didn't all come out with the same b*llocks, for starters, I'm sure even he gers it.

Each to their own. Personally I feel much more compromised by Richie Wellens now. My love of the player will never die, the most talented midfielder I’ve ever seen play for the Rovers but tarnished by the fact he seemed to me totally arrogant, smarmy and disingenuous as a man. I just think Moore gets some unfair stick but I’m sure he’s got broad enough shoulders.

I get what you mean re Wellens, I loved the player but I got the same impression of arrogance as a manager, it was never gonna work put here I feel. I just felt Moore proper left us in the shit after selling us on his supposed morals, it was all very two faced & felt like he conned us all.
Besides, it's panto season so let's enjoy it, & as you say I'm sure he can take it.

It's a poor league this season but out of the bald men fighting over a comb at the top of League Two, he is the only side with some decent form when it matters. Four up today and has won 6 of their last 7. That is a real statement.

Fair play to them they’ve been superb recently….Offered fans £10 a ticket today, apparently Vale park was sold out, different ways to get that momentum going, seemed to help too.
