Says who.?  If he’s leaving, why start him at all and risk injury.?

That was the rumour - anyway Street seems more lively already.

Rovers have 68% possession, more than half of that spent passing it sideways amongst the back 4 I suspect, unless they are willing to make mistakes in going forward then mistakes at the back will always find them out.
From BBC, we've had 59 successful passes in final third compared to their 18. Though 20 to their 14 touches in the box. I suspect that tells the story?

Two shots on target for vale.
Two goals.
9 shots for rovers.
4 on target.
Not good enough.

Sound commentary suggests we’re playing better than we have done for a long time. That’s good news in the long term however it goes today.

Let’s see if the statement signing can make a statement on this game.

Have to say. Regardless of the score, this referee is absolutely shocking. Falling for every trick

Adelukan has been doing things for Salford today - scored their goal and leading 1-0!

I have no idea why the stops were not pulled out to secure Adelakun. His stats for those games spoke for themselves. He was a large part of the reason rovers went on a ten game run.

I saw him 3 times towards the end of the season, and whilst I can’t argue what folks said about him in other games, the ones I saw he was anonymous..

It’s 1-2 today - still time to rescue this..

He was outstanding before the last few games

Not good enough, why does it take until 80 minutes before Rovers start playing an attacking game, even when we are behind?

Called it after 31 minutes, no way can we get a game back by passing amongst the back 4, something has to drastically change about tactics.

The ref was pretty poor today.
Not the reason we lost, but really help them out a couple of times

How many more players do we need. We must have one of the biggest squad in the efl.

It was his first match of the season today, not quite up to speed or in touch with things maybe?

Just like it was always likely to given our level of performances. Sounds like there were some encouraging signs with how we played today, though, despite the result.

Well. Disappointing result. Missing a midfield bas**rd, still. Port Vale were a disgrace and the referee just allowed them the freedom to do what they wanted. Absolute f**king clown.

Tbf we allowed them to do what they wanted as well. We cannot take the game to a team.
