1:0 down at half time why are fans booing? We’re still in the game at this point, get behind em.Gibson wasn’t happy one bit with whatever was said to him at that corner maybe why he chose to walk past the vale fans instead when subbed off.Becoming very toxic when we’re still very much in the promotion mix

It was the referee who insisted he leave the field over the far side of the tunnel (the one & only time he gave any relevance to perceived ‘time wasting’!) not Jordan’s. Why would he choose to walk ‘the gauntlet’ of the PV fans in that quarter given the option to run to the tunnel? As for “It’s the manager we ought to be getting at”. Really? What, you want him booed? Negative chanting? Some little witty, ditty perchance along the lines of “We know that McCann can’t, we know that he can’t, we know that McCann can’t etc”.Get a grip. Some people on here really ought to know better if they watch live games regularly.

‘Booooooo you’re f*****g shit rovers’ was just one of many when the half time whistle went so your claims it was towards the ref is naive. And the Gibson walking past the vale fans, why wouldn’t a home player choose to walk past his own fans, down the east, south stands? I guarantee if we were winning and fans on side he’d have chosen to walk that route.Probably got less abuse from the PV fans then the rovers fans hence the word toxic

Although Gibbo went off on the far side, I didn't think he was near the corner, he was nearer halfway & could have chosen to walk around to the dugout past his own fans, they might get paid to play football but they're still young lads with feelings, having your own fans tell you you're shit can't be nice.

Players expect to get derisory comments from opposition fans but it shouldn’t happen from your own teams fans.

Do they have folk at training shouting abuse at em? Just wondering how being a professional makes you immune to it.Maybe Charlie Lakin does tbf, at Walsall he just grinned at one of ours telling him he was shite as he was taking a corner, I suppose it helped they were two up at the time.

If you can’t deal with stick as a footballer you are not a professional.
