Was an impressive 45mins on debut for him.

But lets not get carried away, i think gibson had a better debut and look how that is turning out.

.... and even at my age I always remember what my dad told me

That was never judge a man on one appearance as he could have a blinder but turn out to have flattered

Or he could look crap but be exactly the opposite.

I laughed when I watched Herbie's debut because all those around me we saying how good he looked , how well he was playing etc etc

I said no , he may be but I'm not going to judge him on one appearance. The very next game I saw him he did a brilliant bit of ball control then beat 2 opponents right on the touchline

I said f*** it , that's one game plus 5 minutes and that's more than 1 game. He's effin great

Not really, Stew. As I said in another post, Sterry's shot was going wide, so if Rob hadn't have touched it, Jamie wouldn't have got an assist, and Rovers would have lost 0-2.

Well deserved debut goal and rightly so.

6 assists for the season already for Sterry, not bad for a RB, Nevermind a shit one.

Definitely hit back of his shoulder to give it bit of extra loop to get it past keeper

From where I was sat it looked like he got his head to the ball and not a deflection.

Looked the same to me and deliberate

I'll take that as my Seat on HW line in West is right below Cameras

So whatever I see on Replay(s) is exactly the view I just got

So I saw the deflection on Jamie's shot and didn't know who touched it , and replay just the same .... No idea

I like the deliberate description lol

I said to my son at the time that it should have been street’s goal. I was very surprised they announced it as Sterry. Sterry’s shot was going wide
