His style of play from wikipidea

Ennis has been described as having "brilliant quality on the ball", "an eye for a creative pass", and "brilliant instincts in front of goal".[11] He has also been called, 'two-footed, commanding in the air, and jet-heeled'.

Hope he is all that

Definitely not been written by his agent.

Maybe he combines the best of Ethan Galbraith with the best of Niall Ennis

Welcome Ethan, hopefully a great half season in prospect for both you and Doncaster Rovers  :scarf:

From what I know, he’s very highly thought of so will be interesting to see how he does at our level. He’s not exactly a raw youngster either at 20 years of age. Will be interested to see how this goes, could be a great addition. Does this signal an outgoing for one of our wide players though with street also joining? This gives us Molly, Gibson, hurst, street and now Ennis as wide players? Sounds a lot

A number 11 was the priority in this window would be nice if we could get a 10 now maybe thats why the lad went back to hull to free up a loan player space in the team

I watched the Trophy game v Man U on the tele.
He was their stand out player.
Really pleased we’ve got him.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Sbarra went out on loan or even maybe Ironside.

Says in that report that he likes to play on the left wing, Gibson obviously not in McCanns good books!
Provides competition for places, Yeboah wasn't quite up to it so a straight swap for him I'd say

This lad is nowhere near a straight swap for Yeboah, he’s much better and really surprised he’s not got a loan in L1.
My guess is Tommy has had some influence in this move, looking forward to seeing how this lad develops once he’s had some games to settle in.
Good chance this was the statement signing!

Street is a centre forward who’s spent less than  10% of his career games out wide (scroll down to positions).

This lad is better than Adelukan

Not criticising - but that's an opinion pulled from where....?

A very good friend, that watches Man Utd kids regularly, reckons he could be as good as Ahmad Diallo, his opinion is good enough for me

Diallo was a £20m player at a younger age than him. He may still be good but the very best ones don’t go on loan to L2 teams at 20.

Absolutely correct - no doubts at all about this lads ability based on that match, plus the majority on here surely would trust in Tommy Rowe not to send us a pup.

Ouch, so if he doesn’t score directly from a corner, be player of the month and win games on his own for us, he is a failure.

The obsession with playing these lads on the wrong side is truly baffling. Gibson spent 5 mins on the right just after half time last match and he came alive. Crosses in for Billy’s header that got tipped over bar.
Not really that baffling a lot of clubs play that way full back over laps inverted winger to cut inside and play off their strongest foot.

Either is fine if you execute things correctly.

Some questions regarding this lads age and being loaned to league 2.
However in 2022 he was out for 14 months due to a ACL injury.
Most on here will understand they can seriously affect any player’s career, so I would suggest this is main reason why he only just getting thing s back on track.

Interesting that some mu fans are suggesting he should be included in first team squads because they rate him more than garnacho!
Probably a bit more due to garnacho’s performances but he is highly rated by coaching staff and their.

There were championship and league 1 players interesting in taking him on loan, but there priority was who could offer the most game time. (Sort of suggests he is going to start most of games, so someone is going to miss out!)

it is baffling when it’s blatantly not working for us!!!!! We don’t have Mo Salah

None of the wide players who miss out can have any complaints.

Vale have done similar to us and bolstered their attack with a Premier League u21 player. And this lad has a great looking record of 13 goals in 16 and top scorer in Prem League 2. Sounds like a good catch

Be interesting to see how he and our lad react to real competitive footy

Man U fans are always going to underestimate how hard it will be for their academy lads to make an impact in L1/L2 though.

Look at Joe Hugill from Man U. Prolific at academy level but is struggling in League One.

This lad could set the league alight, but when it’s their first loan in men’s football the fact is you just don’t know how they’re going to find it. L1/L2 teams put weakened sides in the EFL trophy, so that’s still not an accurate gauge.

And then on top of that it’s a question of whether they can do it consistently in dealing with pressure from the crowd, increased expectations from the manager and getting bigger whacks in a game.

Ethan Galbraith seems to have settled into League One, playing regularly at Leyton Orient.

Speaking of which. He made a move back in April to Portland Timbers 2, the development squad of Portland Timbers. He still hasn't played a game yet I don't think due to injury, but signed a six month extension with them in November. His mystery of a career continues. Hope he can get some minutes before too long.

I have a well informed Man Utd supporting mate. His comment on hearing of Ennis signing for us was "He's too good for you".

He got a very short reply, but he does imply he's good

Taylor-Richards !  forgot about im  .... I just checked out where he is nowadays on loan at lowly Cambridge from QPR   umm   would we take him on loan for the final year of his contract when we are promoted ?

"On 11 May 2023, Queens Park Rangers announced that Richards' move would be made permanent on a three-year deal"

Hope not. He’s a clever player and different to anyone else we have. He needs to be playing a part as we need to be better at unlocking tight defences

Well that would be a typical response from a well informed Man Utd fan I reckon, full of it.Very disrespectful.

Sbarra was very good today and played the superb ball for Moly to go on and score.
