I’m sure Olowu will get offers from L1 and above. Not sure there is any incentive for him to stay.
Need to get promoted to have any chance of keeping him

Did well especially considering they were walking a disciplinary tightrope for the majority of the game. Hull were dogshit tbf especially after Vaughan went off

Yeah,I was pleasantly surprised he took him off,he reminds me of Jarrod Bowen, strong on the ball, quick, agile and direct, most likely to cause us problems.

I thought Maxwell had a bit of a torrid time today, his passing & 1st touch were awful although he did get better as the game went on.

They got in behind him at will in the second half.

ye agree with this. Even though I think one of our best players when on it, it looked like he was playing with a diving boot on his left peg in that first half. His first touch completely deserted him. He did as you said improve second half.

Certainly not disagreeing, as he was off it, but he does often try to touch the ball past the man he’s up against and follow the ball into the space. Was getting that wrong in the first half and did sometimes look like he was trying to control the ball and it just bouncing off.

I was surprised he played 120 minutes, he's barely played 70 in most games.  But that will do his fitness good in the long term, bigger picture etc and on a torrid pitch.  First half everything for them went the other side and Hull's right winger was rapid, albeit lazy and with little end product.

The run from Maxwell for the goal was excellent though, cut open lots of space and created room for others.

Playing a better class of team today, and no recriminations , but no clean sheet and we switched off for their goal and they had more joy attacking our left side second half than the right in the first half, a direct pass through the lines and slow when the ball came off the post, hard yes but no clean sheet.
It was a poor goal to give away, and for once we carried some luck, they missed some easy chances and our keeper pulled off two terrific saves. shoulda, coulda, woulda, yes we have been there, hard luck we win.
We battled and scrambled and it came off for us, we deserved a bit of luck, and could point to we could have had a penalty, and they will point to our keeper should have been sent off, it's football and the result is everything.
There attack came from a throw that should not have been given as the ball never went out and the goal came within 60 seconds after ,the referee was terrible the whole game

Need to tie them both down to long term deals, I'd be looking to give McGrath a new long term deals in the summer. Keeps developing at this rate and he's going places

when jo was orchestrating the crowd at the end in the corner,   it was sheer joy....   the connection between the fans and the team was immense...

Joe’s been fab since Wrexham at home.
Prior to that he was not far short of shocking.
I’ve no idea where this turnaround has come from? Coaching team, Richard Wood? Having Jay next to him? …who to me has been very very good since day 1.
So I hope Joe remembers this… he owes us another 2 good seasons to balance it out, then off you go to bigger greater things young man, with the best of wishes.
