Stephen Roberts got one Wales cap, just before he signed for us. He was called up whilst a Rovers player, but was an unused sub in a match – I think it was away against Luxembourg when Stock was also an unused sub.

Other Welsh internationals to have played for us; George Berry, Eddie Perry, and of course Matt Smith.

Really surprised to hear we could be bringing in Charlie Crew. He's incredibly well thought of in the Wales set up; tagged as one of the biggest talents we've got coming through the age groups.

The only ones to win a full Welsh cap while with Rovers are Eddie Perry (late 1930s striker, Stock, Cotterill and Mike Smith (loan version 1)

The only ones to win a full Welsh cap while with Rovers are Eddie Perry (late 1930s striker, Stock, Cotterill and Mike Smith (loan version 1)

Just getting back to this, other than the above four, the following Rovers players have full international caps for Wales (won outside their time at Rovers):

George Berry
John Cornforth
Brian Flynn
Graham Moore
John Oster
Gareth Roberts
Neil Roberts
Stephen Roberts
Neville Southall
Gareth Taylor

Not sure if I might have missed anyone

The following have played at age group level:

Harry Clifton (U21)
Lee Fowler (U21)
Peter Gilbert (U21)
Aaron Lewis (U21)
Jason Price (U21)
Daryl Pugh (U21)
Laurie Sheffield (Schools, including playing against Alick Jeffrey in a Wales vs England match)
Joe Wright (U21)

There may well be more on that list that I have missed
