2 tickets left in the away section from 39 upwards. Certainly an uptick in sales after Liverpool got knocked out. Feels like a massive game tomorrow. No Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool in the 5th round, wonder how long it’s been since that happened?

Cheers palace fan IP. How many do you make that roughly in total in the palace end?

Expect Eze and Munoz to be the only changes, although he may bring Chilwell in for Mitchell. OG will go very strong initially and hope to bring players on if we could get the lead.

Am I right in thinking Eze is injured??

First & foremost thanks for coming on the forum & being respectful to a club that aspires to be playing Championship football because, with all due respect, that is the division that is the ‘last bastion’ of ‘proper football’.

After the Championship it all comes down to money. Nothing more nothing less.

We had a manager here in our Championship days who told the board something it didn’t want to hear. Sean O’Driscoll told his board that given the attendances & the amount of monies he was given to ‘improve’ the squad, we were only ever going to be a yo-yo club between league1 & the Championship. He was ultimately sacked for his foresight because believe you me, there isn’t a supporter of this club that wouldn’t give their right arm (metaphorically) to be in that position today.

I’m not blowing smoke up your derrière when I tell you that out of all the ‘London clubs’ yours is the only one I can honestly say I personally have any affinity to. The rest (Fulham aside) I don’t give a flying pig for (I include Brentford in that group for historical reasons).

I hope we beat you tomorrow night. It means more to our club financially than you could ever comprehend.

He has a minor foot injury and probably could play but OG has indicated he won’t travel. We do have a couple of players who can cover his position, Kamada and Esse the new kid from Millwall.

I know we all have our perspectives depending on which club you support but to give you mine. I have supported Palace for 57 years and I am not getting any younger. We have played in two FA cup Finals and lost them both, we have never won anything of significance. We did win the ZDS cup many moons ago, not that anyone will remember. We have never played in Europe, spent the majority of our existence outside the top tier and have been in administration twice and very nearly ceased to exist in 2010. My lifelong dream is to see us win a Cup, we were within 10 minutes both times. My life is getting shorter and I look at who is left in the Cup and I am not sure we will get many better chances. So I hope we beat you today ‘it would mean so much to my club and me personally than you could ever comprehend.’
But we have also been the underdogs more times than I care to remember and know exactly what it’s like to bring those ‘bigger’ clubs and their entitled supporters down a peg.

I hear you 100%.

Rovers fans since 1968 and seen us from Championship to Football Conference.

Mostly League One / Two.

Ironically, given your time with Palace and given our lowly status, I've seen us win amazing 'finals' at Wembley and Cardiff and Stoke and back in the 70s and 80s I'd have never dreamt of those occasions.

All about perspective I guess.

Enjoy the evening :-)

It’s easy for us fans of lower league clubs to sometimes think all premiership clubs are easy to support and ‘have it all’ but your post says it all about being a footy fan, just want to win something, even premiership clubs yearn for a ‘ big time’ just like us.
You’re likely to win comfortably tonight, if you do, then make sure you go and win the whole thing.
As an aside, always liked Palace as they’ve had the best kits throughout the decades, that 70’s one was class.

Both clubs were members of the recently formed Division Four back in 1959/60 and 1960/61. Palace completed the double over Rovers on both occasions but since then Palace have recorded just the one victory away from Selhurst Park. We have a decent record against them at home.

Southern bedwetters.

If palace were outside London, they would be a league 1 club.

No R in Doncaster? You may wish to reconsider that.

However.  Were we to win tonight would it be a greater upset (or shock) than Plymouth's upset against the Pools much changed (9) team?

Certainly in places below.

In reality, I'm expecting a typically strong, ruthlessly efficient and predictably solid performance from Palace. Like last time, done and dusted in 20 minutes or so and then put their feet up. We were much stronger back then, also.

Fingers crossed they don't embarrass us. Could be a hard pill to swallow. Don't need that right now.

I remember watching Palace humble Liverpool in the FA Cup semi in 1990 (I think). I was in Amsterdam and managed to find an Irish bar with the game on.  It was a cracking game and I was elated for Palace that they won...  I recall Mark Bright scored and I think Alan Pardew got the winner..?  We had several Guinness that day and it was a special afternoon.

Saying all that, I hope you have an off night this evening and little old Donny turn you over.... although it's in hope rather than expectation...

Yep, just saw that - 91 tickets available in W32.

That's after the club announced it was totally sold out yesterday. They've managed to magic up a few more, let's get them sold!

Sorry, but this is completely amateurish from the club. You can’t just officially announce it’s a sell out and then the next day put some more tickets on sale! Who makes these decisions? Should have been on sale from day 1. We’ve potentially lost money by being thick.

Worst thing is, they haven’t even informed people some tickets are back on sale. Talk about incompetence

The communication from the safety officer/stadium committee and the COO is laughable. It will be the poor staff in the ticket office who get it in the neck from everyone.

This just isn't good enough.

Each and every block that was able to be sold should have been communicated to the ticket office manager from the very start.

I imagine, Palace fan, you will remember Don Rogers? I believe he's still amongst us although his sports shop looks more and more run down as the years pass by. I took my then young son in there one day a few years back - ostensibly looking for some cricket kit but really to introduce him to a League Cup winner  and a generally good, and rapid, footballer. A nice, and surprisingly small, man.

I do Bob, saw his debut in 1972, scored the winner in a 1-0 win, an instant hero. Great player.
