Chesterfield game
« on January 24, 2025, 12:32:18 pm by donnyguy »
We can confirm that our trip to Chesterfield in Sky Bet League Two has been rearranged for Thursday, February 6 with a 7.45pm kick-off.

We had been due to visit the SMH Group Stadium on February 8 but the fixture was postponed due to our ongoing involvement in the Emirates FA Cup.

Ticket information for the new date will be published in due course.

Probably to give the team more time before we play Palace on the following Monday.

Joke again regarding the priority points.

How can there only be 80+ one day then 60+ the next?

Where is the 70+?

Of course I’m looking at it selfishly but how can myself on 77 have the same chance of getting a ticket as someone on 60?

It’s b*llocks.

It’s really poor how they have dealt with the points system.

First day- 230 possible buyers
Second day- an additional 1500 possible buyers
Third day- an additional 2000+ possible buyers

Surely you go

27th AM 80+  PM 70+
28th AM 60+  PM 50+
29th AM 30+  PM 25+/ Members etc

EDIT: The first day needs to be 65+ points because even if they all but a ticket they can’t sell out. It doesn’t need to be as high as 80+ points. That’s only 230 people who can
 to buy.

Like you say there’s not many on 80+ so if they are worried about the quick turnaround then that’s wasting a day. Why not just do 75+, 65+, 55+ then it will sell out.

To go from 80 straight to 60 is really poor.

Someone could be on 79 doing most away games and is hardly getting any advantage.

So what’s the point of it?

You’re right. They’ve made an error here. Don’t the fans group/shadow board, have any input on these things?

It doesn’t matter to the people making the decision. They don’t give a hoot who gets the tickets.

And say what? That it should have been 80 then 70 then 60? Then everyone on 76 would be having a moan up saying they've been treated unfair and it should be in increments of 5, then a moan up and it should be increments of 2

Anyone with half a brain can see that the increased that they are being released isn’t optimal.

Much slower sales than I thought. Makes even more of a mockery of the next band being 30+.

Perhaps the suitability of the bands will vary depending on the appeal/importance of the fixture.

Another slowish day of sales. Thought this was guaranteed to sell out, even with it being in a Thursday night.
