Yes, we know MK are a possession-based team, but we looked so dangerous going forward today and pressured them relentlessly.

McGrath excellent, Maxwell and and Sterry had very good games too. It felt like Ironside of last season was back today, great goal and worked tirelessly.

But I was just marvelling at the young talent we've now got in the squad (not all our own admittedly), but when you can bring Sharp, Gibson, Street, and Clifton on and and Kelly, Crew and Ennis all had good games ... well... that is dangerous.

What a great game of football that was. Both teams mostly trying to play football and go for it. They had some very good players on show today (great performance from Crowley), but ultimately we won with a hard working team display and could/should have had more goals. Onto the next one. COYR!!

Absolute belter of a game. 2 teams going got it although we were far better. Had everything including another joke of a ref. Special praise for Sterry Maxwell and Kelly thought they were magnificent. The others were not far behind.

God I love this club!!

Good game that and we looked good too. You can absolutely see why teams sit back against us as we created much more with them being a bit open.  Slight grumble we only scored twice but it was good to watch. We look a settled team now.

All fantastic and it looks like we are now starting to click into gear!

I have to single Kelly out though. What a performance, we need his legs in midfield. He can feel miffed not to get MOTM tonight but it could have been any of them.

Get in, huge win.

You do indeed get a sense we've got some kind of momentum now.

That was excellent to watch and a great result against a talented opposition.

They set themselves up to make it easy for us and we made the most of that.

Four wins in a row now. As context, the fifth win in our ten win run last season was the home game against Wrexham.

Owolu won every single header and dominated their front line, the first header he lost was in the 95th minute

We looked much fitter than they did to me. Wonder if there was method to the madness of constant squad rotation after all.

I think the players fed off the noise created by the Black Bank, so well done all the lads in there creating that noise

Yes very enjoyable match that. For a lot of the time it could have been either team’s game but Rovers tenacity and resilience won through. Great too see Olowu win MotM, I think he deserves it every week, no drama, no stress, he just quietly gets on with it and keeps us safe.

Do you know what I was thinking exactly the same earlier.

Obvious less injuries to deal with but was it the plan to rotate lots, keep everyone fresh and put ourselves in a decent position, then settle on a preferred squad for the run in whilst they are all fit and available.

You sense we’ve lots left in the tank.

Thought ironside was great today.

Agreed, won a lot of headers and scored a goal which will do wonders for his confidence.

The work rate of the forward 3 won us the game. Especially in that central centre half/ No6 area.

Some momentum and a bit more of a settled side now. Hopefully we can keep this up now and really turn the screw on making a place in the top 3. We’ve the squad to keep getting stronger while others struggle with injuries etc

Agree with all that, except ironside who has been excellent every time he's played .

Since the Walsall game he’s obviously binned the idea of playing the opponent as much as he was and just concentrated on his preferred shape.

What a great, well timed and brave tackle when Jay McGrath skittled their winger creating him to perform a double somersault.

He had a very good game again.
However how can he have won every single header and lost one?

Of the 11 players that started the game today, four are owned by other clubs and two are out of contract in the summer. That means more than half of our preferred starting side is currently not due to be here come June.

What a superb performance that was.

The first half was possibly the best 45 minutes of the season.
Fair play to MK Dons who came out in the second half and took the game to us.

The energy, tenacity and determination we showed today was brilliant. We won almost every second ball and it was our relentless press which led to Joe’s goal, which he thoroughly deserved.

We should have put an even better slant on the scoreline in the dying moments but I’ll take that excellent win which keeps our run going.

What a wonderful day to be a Rovers fan, well done to every single player.
