Why 10? Aim for 11 and beat the record!

I’m still claiming it’s 11.
We were cheated at Gillingham

As I have already said, it would be ironic if last year's run was ended at Gillingham, and this year's run started at Gillingham!

I desperately want us to beat Chesterfield. Some of their fans were taking the p*ss on the way back to town after their win at our place.

I had the good grace to admit that they were the best team on the day, but reminded them that we finished with 9 men on the field, which impacted on the final scoreline.

They dismissed that, and said that the sending offs made no difference, as they were simply in a different class to us.

W*nkers. Please let's do them on Thursday.

Chesterfield is a bit of a hurdle to get over for our run to continue. However, I’d take a point now and be reasonably happy. Who am I kidding?

We have Crystal Palace to think about after the Chessy game, although that doesn’t count.

Genuinely thought they'd be up there with us until the end of the season. Still time too mind but some poor results for them lately

Horrible run of games coming up. 3 games in little over 7 days, one of which we are likely going to be chasing shadows for 90mins. Come grimsby and the early kickoff, we will be spent.

Thursday - Monday - Saturday is much more forgiving than Saturday - Wednesday - Saturday..

Monday will be tough but there’s plenty of recovery time before the Grimsby game..

The only thing about Thursday-Monday is that footballers are creatures of habit and they are not used to playing Thurs- Mon at this level. Daft as it may sound to some, things like that can affect players.

Well let’s hope it affects the PL Palace superstars more than it does our lads.

We already know that Eze will not be playing on Monday. Let’s hope a few more are rested, then we’ll have a bit more of a chance!

You never know, Grant may rest one or two himself?

Thursday’s game, and outcome, may play a part in our selection.
