Not two footed.

One in front one behind

Feet on the floor

Not dangerous, nor out of control

Absolute stone wall reflection from the poor replay I’ve seen.

Only saw one replay but it looked to me like Senior went in low, got the ball and their lad went over the ball and fell.

Definitely a red. Maybe if he connected with the ball you could have a case. Lunged in right through matey boy and the ball didn't move an inch. Reckless.

The fact it's a debate means there's zero chance of it being overturned. It wasn't great and it was stupid really as well.

Dangerous tackle end of,whether people say he won the ball or not didn’t go in with studs showing but he has gone straight through from behind.

He shouldn’t have given the ref a decision to make in the first place. There was no danger. We know the refs are shite so why give them any chance to brandish the card. It was brainless. It was also a correct decision on this occasion, in my opinion.

It’s so frustrating, we’ve had two nailed on red cards for the opposition in the last two home games, right in front of the Fourth Official and not even a yellow card given, they were loads worse than that last night, which I thought was a tough but fair tackle

Slow motion replays always make things look a little bit better I have found, but when I first saw it, admittedly on an iPad screen from the corner of my eye, I thought red card, could you blame the pitch? Possibly, but that won't get it overturned.

It was an out of control lunge. It’s a red card an no complaints.

McCann looked furious. With good reason as well because there was no justification to do that kind of tackle in that area of the pitch at that moment of the game. Very nearly cost us 2 points

You need glasses if you think that was from behind.

Yes, it's hard to argue with the decision.

Morecambe commentator said McCann didn’t look at Senior as he walked past him. Can’t have been impressed.

I must say that I can’t remember any tackles worse than in what was a pretty clean game.

I've watched this back a dozen times and it is not a red card.

If Seniors tackle was against one of ours I would not be calling for a sending off.

In fact if you watch it the Morecambe player stamps into the tackle which is worse than what senior did.

I'd debate it even being a yellow nevermind a red, looked an honest challenge to me

Think it’s worth an appeal. 50 50 for me, never a 3 game ban

I think that was more because the challenge wasn't necessary, not because of the way Senior made the challenge.

I've just watched the incident in slow motion and the Morecambe player lunged in with a raised foot. Maybe if anyone, HE should have been the one sent off!

Yep, a definite stamp by the Morecambe player.

Gave the ref a decision to make. Unnecessary force. Won't be appealed

Red. Wreckless and stupid. With Maxwell out, that lad had a chance to stake a claim and make that spot his, and he was doing a decent job until that. Whether he meant anything malicious or not, to come in at that speed from that angle and give the referee a decision to make was silly, and with us 1 up just put us under unnecessary pressure.
Silly boy. Darn right Grant was livid.

Senior didn't have to go in like that, and if he hadn't, the ref wouldn't have made a wrong decision.

Definitly a red. Any time you give a referee the opportuinty to make a decision then you are always open to a red card. To do it miles away from your own goal under no threat it all is absolute stupidity, no other words for it.

Literally the only person on the planet who has managed to see Senior at no fault and their player at fault. I think I'll leave this conversation there.

Have you read what I've said about Senior's involvement?

There are about 4 or 5 posters on this thread who quite literally think Senior did nothing illegal, never mind the whole planet!
