I’m not bothering. I’m fed up of the bloke next to me shouting ‘handball’ every five minutes!!!

If this is in the west stand i know who you mean!

Received an e mail this morning saying that car parking at the stadium is being reviewed

We are just contacting you to give you a quick update on seasonal car parking passes for the 2025/26 season.

As you will be aware, car parking passes are not yet available for 2025/26, this is due to the club currently undertaking a review of parking utilisation both on match days and non match days.

This review will be completed by the end of May and further details will be released in early June.

Please be assured that as a current seasonal car park pass holder you will have first option on your space for the 2025/26 season.

I’ve just seen Lincoln City’s season tickets are going on sale tomorrow, I know they’re in a division higher but their prices are a lot steeper than ours ,£442 for the top price ticket. One thing that they are doing which I found interesting is that when a kick off is moved, 12.30 from 15.00 on a Saturday they are going to offer rebates, this doesn’t apply to games moving days i.e. Tuesday to Wednesday but keeping the same kick off times

Lots of other considerations but our stadium is 50pc bigger than their stadium. While the load factor will be higher, in absolute terms they need to charge more than we do, all things being equal.

I’m not bothering. I’m fed up of the bloke next to me shouting ‘handball’ every five minutes!!!

If this is in the west stand i know who you mean!

I’ve been really happy with my seat in the West Stand since the first day the stadium opened.

Nowadays however, I’m getting really p****d off by the guy 3 rows behind me who insists on telling his mate (in a loud voice) how all the scores from the other divisions are going.

This ritual starts about 15 minutes into the game.
“Barnsley’s losing 1-0”
“Leeds are 1-0 up”
“Wednesday’s drawing 0-0” ……. Yes because neither team has scored yet FFS!

The guy next to me says “Jeff Stelling’s at it again”

I feel tempted to turn round and shout “How’s Donny getting on?!”
I don’t think he would know, ‘cos he’s been staring at his mobile since minute 15.

Then there’s the other guy on the row behind me, who is Rovers’ answer to Victor Meldrew. He gives constant negative observations to the old bloke next to him.

Some gems from yesterday:
“What do they do in training every week?”
“Why doesn’t he start with Wood?”
“We’re just clueless aren’t we?”
“We’re gonna lose this”
“He’s taking that lad from Lincoln off but he’s not bringing that lad from Man Utd on, he’s bringing that lad from Grimsby on instead. But he’s left that lad from Leeds on”.

THEY HAVE NAMES FFS!

It happens in the south stand too Pancho.
Yesterday there were two blokes yesterday who (halfway through the first half) were stood at the front talking to each other and not looking at the pitch.
The chat continued and then Rovers scored the second goal which they obviously  didn’t see.
Another one was the bald bloke to my right who was apoplectic when TSL caught a ball and didn’t “Gerritforrard” immediately even though we were 2-0 up and there were only a couple of minutes to half time.
We get most of those other things which you mentioned too.

Why worry ? Just enjoy the match, they don’t have any importance at all.

They ought to raise the OAP concession to over 70-year-olds to save the club some money.
You over 70 ?

When I renewed a couple of weeks ago Tracey said that renewals were going well and quite a few new ones as well.

Bill Workman was quite funny with most of his sayings. A few aren’t really repeatable on here

Although it can be annoying if you have someone sat ne
ar you every home game and all that you hear is them moan about every bad pass and slagging players off every game, you have to remember they still support the same team, they still want the win. Some people just express themselves differently. Going to the football is a habit kind of. I'd bet most fans do the same thing every time they go. Pint, food and a bet. Others just moan. Some go to get out and truth be told are more bothered about socialising. The guy who shouts the score probably thinks people like what he does. All I do is try and ignore them. However if the person scores who they been slagging all game I always turn and say he not shit now is he.

You already get 25 points for having a season ticket

I’ve just checked and they have already added the priority points, maybe that is a good advantage/incentive for the last couple of away games.
