Battlers

After witnessing last nights performance at Bromley, it made me feel really proud as you learn more about yourself in defeat than you do when you win. We fought hard, created chances galore but obviously didn’t convert any. But we didn’t waver, we kept going, kept trying right until the bitter end. Anyway my main point is it all bodes well for the remaining games. Our current set of players have a never say die attitude about them & not a soft underbelly anymore.

Well said BR. I think the Grimsby loss was the wake up call needed for the team and they have responded well to that loss. GM's aim is promotion and I am sure the players want it too. The loss lsat night is disappointing, but it does sound like they played well and should have won. Play as well as we can and let other teams worry about us!

Grant also instigated a new tactical system last night a 2-8 formation.
