These shots on target comments are just wrong.
I can think of at least three shots on target that were blocked or deflected wide.

A shot blocked is not counted as on target, it needs to go in or be saved when going in

And shots hitting woodwork are deemed 'off target'

I know all that Dutch but I’m saying that people put too much emphasis on the stat.
If a shot is going on target and is blocked by a defender then very obviously it is a shot on target.
Some people only go by the stats and not what their own eyes should see.
Ennis himself had two shots late on, the first would have gone in but was blocked and from the rebound his next shot was on target but was deflected onto the post.

Exactly this hound.

But because crewe had a couple of shots that went tamely straight at teddy then people think they are better.
Majority of their shots were on target but not really threating.

I guess it's who is the better team on the day, it's not clear cut by the all the comments and it will make for a difficult run in, we are going to have to be the better team for most of the remaining matches.
