A very quiet week with no games in midweek in the division but next Saturday we have games being played that can effect our position in the league table.
Bradford v fast improving  Colchester looks a stand out result we will be looking at with interest, especially after Bradford's shock defeat at home to Tranmere on Saturday that burst a bit of a bubble as the Yorkshire Post were building them up to be something they probably are not, but will want to get back on track quickly in a fixture they will expect to be a very hard game against the top of the form table over the last six games.
AFC Wimbledon also look to have a relatively easy game at home to Barrow, Wimbledon having the meanest defence at home in the division shipping only 12 goals in 19 home games v Barrow who have only scored 12 away goals in 18 away games so looks a nailed on home win.
Notts County going through a bit of a poor run only winning one of their last five games are at home to our friends from Crewe, who played us off the park for 70 minutes Saturday but who we overran the last twenty minutes but will be desperate to keep on the heels of the playoff positions and looks a game that could go any way.
Gillingham v Walsall looks the closest game of the day, Walsall against everybody's expectations a run away leader at one time, but since January have fallen back, and Gillingham who pushed the boat out financially this season and were fancied to be up there in the division have really underachieved but I have the feeling they are not a team you now want to be playing in the last few weeks of the season.
Grimsby v Newport looks a home banker to me to keep them on the tails of the play off places,
Port Vale v Morecambe  looks on the face of it another home banker against a relegation threatened team , probably the banker of the day.
So not great prospects for us to hold our place in the division although it is football and at this time of the year teams get the yips not previously seen, we could definitely do with a couple of shock results while we look on with interest from afar.  What do you think?

Have to say, looking at the fixtures in April, some really tough fixtures for the teams around us. If we can look after our games, things could look really tight for top spot

The two end games are going to be real play-off type games with Bradford and Notts County, this team should be way ahead by now but they have let themselves down on a fairly regular basis. As GM said, he is going to have to drag the squad over the line, but I am also sure he can do it.

Sarcevic has a hamstring problem and could be missing from Bradford City’s team for up to a month.

With our form been so patchy at the moment I’m fairly happy the games been moved. Hopefully we find some consistency before we move lay it.

A proper spell on the training ground with no games could be used very well by GM to iron out our game. Be very disappointed if 1st game back we look like strangers!

I don't think we have a very good record getting a result in rearranged fixtures in the past.

I'm at Wembley for the England game, and was struggling to get back to Salford, so I'm more than happy it's postponed..

There aren't really any easy fixtures in this league, or any for that matter, but I've been looking through the fixtures and form tables tonight

Interesting bits:

Colchester to play:
Rovers
Bradford
Notts C

Bradford to play:
Rovers
Notts C
Port Vale
Colchester

Wimbledon to play;
Rovers
Walsall
Port Vale

Crewe play them all and still fighting for playoffs.

Port Vale play a few in and around playoffs.

We look to have more of the teams 'out of form'

Bradford have most of the form teams.

Colchester are the in form team and they play Bradford and Notts C before they play us.

Wimbledon play Walsall before they play us

There is a LONG way to go in this league yet. With everyone playing each other there will be points dropped pretty much every week to the end of the season. We need to get a winning run together sharpish and we could still be champions.

Yes. It's clear that a winning run would deliver the goods alright. But there's  been sod all evidence all season that we are capable of such a thing - particularly against the better teams.....

I live in hope. But not in expectation..

No Jatta in the squad for them but yes they had been struggling before anyway.

It’s such poor quality and puts some of Rovers’ performances in perspective. Crewe seem to be capable of better football, but Notts have managed to keep up the pressure but with really poor finishing.

Maybe not, as we could do with another Crewe draw next week v Port Vale.

How do we want Bradford vs Colchester to go? Colchester win to slow Bradford down a bit more? Or Bradford to win and slow the in form Colchester up a bit who are fast approaching those above them.

1-1 draw for me couple of red cards for goalkeepers, fans on pitch big fine for both teams multiple yellows would be perfect
