Funnily enough he's not well thought of in Carlisle either

I thought that he was biased against us. We didn’t get much from him and if he was even handed they should have had a couple of bookings as well for similar fouls. He even gave a throw in when all of the ball didn’t cross the line and the Lino didn’t flag. The ref was 15 yards infield as well.

That throw in thing was quite funny.
I thought the ball had gone out  but when the lino didn’t flag I thought I must have been wrong.
However when the ref made the decision it was funny to see the lino sheepishly put his flag up and signal the throw in.

Should have booked Broadband for the foul a few mins earlier. I've no complaints with him booking him for a minor foul a few mins later. Overall, he was the best ref I've seen all season.

I didn't think there was any connection.

I think the lino could of told him the ball was out but didn’t know who it came of last so had to wait for the refs direction of throw

If he’d been ‘man enough’, he’d have laid his flag down, shrugged his shoulders & made it clear to all & sundry he hadn’t seen the ball go out of play so ‘over to you ref’ for your decision on who last touched the ball.

Yes, I would like to live in a world where ‘good men/women’ show their feelings whatever the consequences to them as individuals.

According to DROS he’s also reffing the Walsall game tomorrow night?! Is that usual? 2 games in a row, within 3 days of each other, with the same team?

I posted in the let’s talk about Walsall game thread.
The ref is James Oldham, relatively unexperienced with high % of red and yellow cards.
Was ref in the Carlisle away game!

Couldn’t argue with the second yellow to be fair, although if I recall the first one was very soft
