Crazy we sent out Hurst, would have been the perfect player to replace Gibbo after an hour tonight.

Feels like we have to play Gibson every week because Ennis isn't good enough and Sbarra isn't a winger.

Can we recall Hurst?

Jordan Gibson might as well sit with me for what he’s contributed tonight !!
got to agree with you, I can’t recall his name been mentioned in the 2nd half

Barely did but you must remember him being substituted ?

He ran off at speed and Commentator said replacing Number 11 Gibson

Same commentator who said when ennis came on "ive liked what i have seen of him in the games he has played" clearly doesnt watch much then because cannot remember much good coming from ennis

Yes, that made me laugh too.

Gibson was no worse than Moly tonight , obviously there's room for improvement but at least he's willing to drive into the box and have a go at the defender 1 on 1. Just didn't come off for him tonight.

He does everything right until the time comes to make the correct decision. It’s ridiculously bad the amount of times his decision making or execution is crap. Really poor player.

This in spades.  You can have all of the talent you like if you can't make good decisions it is worthless.  Gibson looks good running with the ball but then wastes it because he has no awareness of the players around him, of either team.

He’s clearly not very bright and as said his decision making is super poor. Basically because of his woeful left foot. Which is why on occasion during the match both wingers must swap sides. It wasn’t happening for either yesterday. So if they swapped, you’d give Gibson one easy to understand instruction. Get to the by line and cross it in. Football really doesn’t have to be complicated.

This infuriates me also. Dont get the obsession playing left footed wingers on the right wing & vice-versa.

If we didn’t then moly wouldn’t have got any of the goals he’s scored this season.
It’s obvious why

We signed Mols off the back of him scoring goals like that for Hartlepool.

No one plays 4-3-3 with a right footed right winger and left footed left winger. Leaves the lone striker completely isolated as the wide men tend to stay wide going on the outside of defenders.

Usher wide.

Yes but it’s the same for majority of games, it never comes off for him.

I’m not suggesting we play like that all the time. But what is wrong with changing things up during the game? Like for ten mins per half for instance. Especially when, like last night, their effectiveness clearly wasn’t happening. It’s daft to be so rigid with your plans.

So, come Friday and if he’s picked, are we going to support him, or think we’re doomed from the off..

Regardless of what has gone before, I know what camp I’m in.!

Clue, it’s not the second option.

So is the money wasted on his singing or his playing ability?

He might start “We are the Champions” though in the changing rooms after the Notts County match.

How the games changed eh? Could never have imagined the likes of Giggs playing right wing.

Hurst has no goals in 9 league games for Queen’s Park. Bottom half National League standard.

There are only 8 players in L2 with a higher xG + xA (expected assist) than Gibson. That total is 14.6. That’s one every 156 minutes. That’s one of the best in the division.

They are reality though, that’s the thing.

He creates good chances for others and gets into good scoring positions. That’s a fact.

What’s a big enough sample size to conclude that a player just isn’t very clinical?

Like Liverpool gave up on Darwin Nunez at some point and he always has great xG.

I thought Hurst had finally arrived at Bradford away but unfortunately just never pushed on . Still be a great option off the bench so a strange one really
