Quite a few players have got their own thread, and deservedly so. But I thought Tom was outstanding today, never missed a header and was composed on the floor (a few wayward clearances in the second half but we’ll forgive that). He’s had an outstanding second half of a season, has he got another year in him at a higher level. I for one hope so

He’s got one, but it’s now on page 2.

The forum has been busy today, I wonder why eh.??

Super performance again. Rough tough does the job every team needs one. I hope that the knockers who have posted on here are again enjoying their humble pie. You know who you are. Obviously you have never played as a central defender. Again well done Tom.

He has regained the form he had when first joining us. Not the quickest but very strong and reliable.

When you consider how many partners he’s had this season, he’s not done bad, has he? There’s been Wood, Olowu, McGrath and finally Bailey. From that list it’s difficult to say which has been the best! For a long period, I thought the McGrath/Olowu combination was going to see us through to the end of the season.

Big Tom was my motm yesterday - absolutely immense. But very ably assisted by our captain - Mr Unflappable.

Tom is as near as you will get to a modern day Terry butcher, will bleed for the shirt without a seconds hesitation!!
