The date of the away game at Sutton with Joe’s 96th minute equalising penalty.
When you think back this really was a pivotal moment.
Had we not scored we could easily have slipped into a relegation dogfight which we may not have won.
Instead we went on that incredible run and have now been promoted with the chance to be crowned champions on Saturday.
Credit to all involved.
Roll on Saturday!!

And marked the end of the disaster which had started 09th February 2021, a 3-1 defeat at Fleetwood… when Tom Anderson got clobbered, and the season fell apart, and a sleepwalk towards the conference.
Since Sutton it’s been onward and upward

Not sure if it’s the same Fleetwood game, but did we go 0-1 up and go to the top of the league and then conceded 3 :( if so I remember that as a turning point in the season too.

Yes, and Danny Andrew scored the 3rd, and celebrated like they'd won the World Cup.

What’s our league record since that game at Sutton? It must be pretty impressive.

That is really impressive ove what is almost a season and a half.

It is impressive because it's not all been plain sailing. McCann has overcome those doubts about adequately replacing TLT, Adelakun and Craig. Whilst some might have a case for saying those players are still better than who we have, he's focussed the squad on the task in hand with a clutch of players improving as the season progressed with just the one significant addition in January with Rob Street. The significant hard yards run and points earned were from our permanent outfield players.

I was genuinely worried about where the next win would come from after that Sutton game. What a mad run.
