Of course it's good that it's better than last year.
But what's wrong with asking what the actual numbers are? Without the usual childish snowflakes having a tantrum.

No-one's stopping you asking.

The usual suspects are literally having a childish tantrum.
It's bizarre.
Says the poster having a chilish tantrum

Over at Bolton we’ve now sold nearly 16,500 ST’s so still hoping to match last seasons 17k yet we still managed to double our losses to £11m for the last financial year and that doesn’t take into account the circa £3m we wasted last summer on the likes of McAtee, Randall, Osei-Tutu and Schon or whatever we paid to that buffoon Evatt to get rid of him. I know we have rich Swiss backers but you have to question how long they’ll continue to do that if we fail again to reach the Championship? Not exactly in line with the boards stated aim of running the club sustainably. We’ve both been on the edge of winding up previously and I don’t want to see either risk that again but you’re certainly doing a better job of looking sustainable than we are so don’t be splashing out on expensive signings who might not deliver what you hope! You may sell less tickets than us but you seem to be spending what you do get better. Good luck nest season, except when playing us of course.

Just out of curiosity, have those loans totalling around £40m been paid back by Football Ventures by now and is the hotel now pulling it's weight and contributing to the income?

No donny much of the debt is still outstanding and we also have to repay a supporters £5m bond back in a couple of years. It’s worrying there’s no question and you wonder how long our backers will have the patience to wait for the club to get back into the championship. My point is that even with high season ticket sales revenue we still doubled our loss in the last period to £11m. We blew our chance at Wembley when Oxford completely outthought Evatt and his one and only system. It was clear after ten minutes they’d sussed us yet the idiot made no attempt to make any tactical adjustment. We’re all hoping that this year will be different under Schumacher because if it isn’t?

It’s a shame that you can’t put it in your phones wallet with all of your other cards.

Although it does say that they’re looking at this function.

Am I correct in reading this as…..Season Ticket sales are currently 43% up verses sales as at 12 June 2024.

The confusion arises because we don’t know how many were sold by the corresponding date last year.

People are assuming that it’s 43% up on the final total which I believe was 5000. But if we had a late rush last year and by this date had only sold 3500 then it will be lower because 43% of 3500 is much lower than 43% of 5000.

Or maybe I’ve got it completely wrong!

That’s what iwas  thinking at first, but a careful read of the post by Lincoln Rover says “for the corresponding date forecast year, ST sales are up 43%”.
I have to admit that I am slightly confused by that particular wording too.

LR, could you please translate your phrase "corresponding date forecast year" I'm sure you know what you mean but it defies my understanding, thanks.

Is it not predictive text changing ‘for last’ to ‘forecast’? That’s what I assumed.

Well 43% increase at any stage is encouraging. If by kick off, we're anywhere around 6k it's a sign there's going to be some bumper attendances and great atmospheres.

Ladies & gents, my apologies. It was predictive text.
Compared to THIS TIME last season our ST sales are up by 43 %. Old age & not proofreading . Hopefully this clarifies.

If sales continue at this rate, are the total sales projections for somewhere in the region of 7,000? which would be brilliant. With a few thousand walk ups on the day and a number of bumper away followings, then the ground will be buzzing.

9 or 10,000 home fans week in week out along with the big away followings we’re going to get next year would be fantastic.
