With beckham now taking a much stronger hold over Salford they have cleared out 17 players including Matty Lund, Ryan Watson and Jon Taylor to name but a few.

Offered Haks a contract - let's see what his agent thinks of that!

Barnsley also got rid of a load of younger players

AS FOR LUND he's only 34 and a half -- looked much older

Jon Taylor left ‘his best’ at Rotherham.

People seem quick to slate Gibbo but he’s worth 10 Jon Taylor’s imo.

Absolutely agree.
Gibbo is coming on leaps and bounds, and has started scoring.
Taylor couldn't finish his dinner

Taylor’s work rate was second to none in that position though. Good player till injury struck.

Taylor was really, really good for us in the Covid season and that was when we were at the top end of League One. Superb at stretching defences.

Jon Taylor was really good for us before he got injured. I believe it was our mistreatment of his injury that allowed it to recur and he has never got back to where he was in his prime.

Was one of my favourite players.

It didn't help that Richie forced him to play when injured saying the injury was only in his head.

Like when Grant said Maxwell needed to man up and play with a broken toe.
