Well, that's good so McCann can go ahead and narrow down his target for his No 1 slot.

It’s a unique job being a No2 keeper isn’t it.

He's spent a few seasons as a Rover. If he has a testimonial, he'll have a big turnout.

Grant was obviously desperate for a number two. He’ll be much relieved now.

Quite a relief to wipe the slate clean and ensure everything is neat and tidy at the back next season

In all seriousness, I’ve just listened to his interview on the Rovers website & what a refreshing listen it is.

He’s clearly very happy at ‘our club’, with him & his young family settled in Doncaster he says he wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

He appreciates that he’ll be understudy to whoever the manager brings in next season, but while being ‘consigned’ to that role he explains how he now sees his role, albeit at 30 years old which in goalkeeping terms is still relatively young, as one of supporting the young keepers at the club whilst keeping himself motivated enough to push on for that No.1 jersey.

Comes over as someone who has much to offer to the group which Grant obviously sees in training & outside of training on a daily basis.

With Billy now currently the elder statesman of the group, it’s refreshing to hear & to know that whilst recognising their ‘advancing years’ & what it takes to keep themselves prepared in the best possible way for the team & the club is testimony to their professionalism.

So glad to have them both on board.

Meant to be one of the nice guys in football never heard anybody say a bad word about the guy. Probably knows he's picking up good money to sit on a bench and stay local now he's settled with a family in Doncaster. Probably one for the changing rooms whilst also being a cheap and reliable option for the bench so great signing if you ask me

I don’t understand why he’d go to Bolton instead of stay at Rovers. Admittedly there’s a lot I don’t understand to be fair.

Bolton will pay more wage contribution than we would so Chelsea would suggest he goes there for the change of training and learn something different

Bigger club with bigger stadium, bigger expectations so good for his development.

Now let's get TLT in.
