Well deserved. He did a terrific job under any circumstances, but to mastermind that title winning run in after the loss of his mum was something else.

The LMA award is voted for exclusively by his peers. The EFL award is voted on by an ‘expert panel’ which isn’t disclosed.

Top award for a top manager, had my doubts around Christmas time. To win the title & have to go through what he went through in his personal life speaks volumes of the man. Well done Grant, a thoroughly deserved accolade. We are so lucky to have him.

Reflecting back I was out of order.

I know very little about the mechanics of professional sport but that doesn’t stop me giving my two penneth - usually wrong !

I sat next to Grant at a game when he had been banished to the stands. He lived and asessed every kick of the ball with his heart and soul. It is obvious that he is dedicated to DRFC with every fibre of his being, we could not have a better or more dedicated Manager than him.
