A couple of framed old signed shirts.
« on June 02, 2025, 09:02:58 am by Al4475 »
Hi all,
I know I haven't particularly posted much over the last few years - but as ever, I have kept abreast of all things DRFC.

My wife and i are downsizing our house as we get older, and I have a couple of framed signed shirts that I would like to offer out to anyone on here who fancies them.

One is David Mulligan's World Cup qualifying shirt from 2003/4 picked up from Dave and signed on the spot in Adelaide when New Zealand played Australia - believe, tho I may wrong, that it is the last time a Rovers player played in a full world cup qualifying game, while on the books at DRFC.

The other is one of Justin Jackson's title winning shirt which was signed by the majority of the squad following the promotion to League 1 after coming up from the Conference.

Anyone interested- giz a shout.

The other

There's also, for those of you in and around Cusworth, Scawsby, Bentley and Sprotborough a shed load of memorabilia gone to the Barnadoes Charity shop near Dominoes and Tesco up Barnsley Road near the Sun Inn - loads of shirts, programs, dvds, mugs ceremonial plates and tungsten pint jugs all in there if anyone fancies a nosey to see if there's owt they fancy!

In hindsight- I should've posted on here earlier! Lol

We would love to take these for the virtual museum project if possible?

Although we’re not yet ready to accept donations of items in a big way, we can accommodate a bit more stuff.

By the way we’ll be sending an update on the VM to the forum this week.

Thanks

Rich - send me your email and I'll send you a pic. I also have the program (albeit a bit raggedy - but it's sound) and my ticket stub in the back of the frame too.

Hi Matt,
I don't really know to be honest- the title winning JJ shirt is official reflection stuff and was organised for me by Liam Scully as a vit of a thankyou for all the work I was doing across the schools in the borough to help his Football In athe Community grow- pretty much the whole squad signed it.

The Mullinone - i was there at the game with a rovers shirt on and champions flag and he made a bit of a beeline for me after the game.

I have framed them myself - but they look good.

I don't really know what kind of price these things go for.

Send me a pm with your email and I'll blip you a pic of each across - i also have a program and a ticket stub from the Mulli game too.

I guess the title winning one is worth more than Mulli's - as term mulli one is a bit more personal nostalgia whereas the other will appeal to potentially more people.

Like I said tho - Indonesia really have a figure in mind as I don't know whaybindividualnitwms like these would normally fetch.
