Not really interesting when it openly admits they aren't facts.

If there is a sprinkling of truth then it's amazing that we've won the championship on less money spent than Carlisle who got relegated. It would prove that money doesn't guarantee success.

I know you'd rather us spunk a 10 mill wage bill though.

There’s absolutely no way we had a lower wage bill than Barrow or Morecambe.

With the size of our squad there is zero chance we had the 16th largest wage bill

Wont the accounts debunk this in a years time when released? I know they don’t always explicitly say what the spend is on but as a football club it’s not hard to figure it out. We’ll have spent way more than lots of those teams

The club took the decision a decade ago to effectively no longer publish any accounts for the football club (Doncaster Rovers Limited). We have very little visibility on the football club, only Club Doncaster (Club Doncaster Limited).

This only reflects 23/24 as clubs haven't filed accounts reflecting 24/25 yet, but in League Two 23/24 there was only one side that had a higher level of cumulative losses than our £38m and that was Colchester United at £42m.

That is £38m that has basically been given to us by a combination of Ryan, Watson and primarily Bramall. We had outstanding loans of £6.5m almost certainly due to Terry. Given the huge losses over the years that is about £32m of losses that have probably been converted to equity at some point, i.e. effectively surrendered by our generous benefactors.

Wrexham had a wage bill of £11m and average weekly wage of 4.6k. They had an absolutely huge income of £26.7m, which was way ahead of everyone else that season. Their wage bill was significantly greater than obvious big spenders such as Bradford City (£6.1m), MK 'Dons' (£5.7m) and Gillingham (£6.5m). Interestingly Forest Green had a huge wage bill of £7.7m. We got beaten in the play offs by Crewe, with a relatively small wage bill of only £4m.

Final point. Our losses last season of £3m were among the highest but every single club booked losses with the sole exception of Mansfield Town who turned a microscopic profit. Biggest losers as it were, were Stockport County with a massive £7m loss, way more than anyone else. Then Salford City at £5.3m.

I think our Board has also written off a lot of Directors’ loans over the years .

The loans have been converted to shares, which are in effect worthless.
