Right back at left back , centre midfielder at right back , an ageing Henderson , not convinced he was the right appointment

Crazy playing these games at this time of year when there's no major tournament.

What a load of rubbish this game is. I watched Spain v France the other night and we are way off that standard

If we had won 5-0 I bet there wouldn’t have even been a thread started.

We might have ended up winning 5-0, the thread was started in the first half!

It was mission accomplished.
Comparing it to France v Spain is crackers.
They are both top football sides and both were trying to win the game.
Andora were just trying to keep the score down until the last minute.

This..

These qualifiers against lesser teams who can be difficult to break down, are never going to be entertaining.

Unless it’s the tournament itself, no one wants to play this time of year, it’s when the players should be getting some R and R before pre season starts.

Play them at home in the international window mid November, very different game I would think.?

I wouldn't watch an England qualifier on back garden. It's shite but they get the job done. Same old. I don't watch or judge England until main tournament.

It really was awful to watch. Yes Andora basically killed the game but a good side should be able to break any defence down.
Give the likes of Toney a chance & stop relying on sir Harry all the time, who is on the decline.
Henderson??.
Hardly planning for the future is it?
Give another keeper some experience for a start.

I said it under Southgate and now under Tuchel it’s the overrated players. They do not know how to counteract low blocks. We had Konsa Burn James and just in front Henderson the other six players were attackers and apart from Madueke the others never took players on never ran in behind seem to accept the easy pass. These are the players that premier league and foreign clubs supporters believe are the best they are not.

I’m not sure having a coach on such an obvious short term gig is helpful longer term. Having Burn, Henderson as starters is surely not conducive to building squad for longer term, let alone World Cup. Will be interested to see how we perform against Serbia. That’s his first real test.

Against Andorra long balls would have cut out 8 of their defenders but they stuck to sideways and backward short passing .Unintelligent footballing .

Most players post match interviews had them saying job done and three points, they should be honest, that was crap against National League level at best opposition. It wasn’t good enough throughout the squad and the management

Well they’ve a better record than almost everyone else in the world over the last decade in major tournaments which would indicate they are amongst the best

How did we do in the world cup after we beat Germany 5 1 in the qualifiers?

Spain lost to little old Scotland in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. How did they do in the tournament itself?

Couldn't give 2 stuffs how we play, how many we score. Irrelevant. Just qualify. That's it

The moaning and winging in the media today is just ridiculous. Gutter press having a go as they always do. Always will.

I know he scored in the end but there’s times it’s so obvious that Kane should play with another striker who stays high. On his own even Andorra feel like they can squeeze the pitch in midfield.

I know it’s different opposition and a different situation but having watched both semi finals of the nations league (Spain/France, Portugal/Germany) and the final tonight versus the England game, it’s like watching a totally different sport using similar equipment. A bit like motocross v Superbikes, or stock car racing vs F1. Let’s hope England improve, a lot, more than a lot, they need to!
