Another quality and entertaining World Cup qualifier! And what a finish by de Bruyner! I believe he’s looking for a new club and we need a goal scorer!!     :woot: :P

OK, guys, if someone can pass me the custard, I'll scoff the humble pie.

Unbelievable comeback by Wales, and really unlucky to lose. I thought the left winger, Thomas, was superb, and MOM.

Funny how the commentary team have changed the way of pronouncing DeBruyner after all these years.
Suddenly he has become “DeBroine”.

Over the last few years PL players have produced clips of how to pronounce their names, so they probably just learned how to say it correctly.

Possibly, but a bit late now that he has left the PL.
Also, the new pronounciation doesn’t go with his song.

It's been pronounced like that for the last couple of years at least by the majority of people.

Has it?
I have never heard it said like that.
The Man City fans don’t think so when they sing his song.

Commentators often pronounce names wrong.  Take Germans in Euro 1996, didn’t they have a Fuchs and a Kuntz.?  Poor old Barry Davies had a nightmare.!

Ha, yes I remember a newspaper headline following a Germany match which said “Lucky Kuntz”.

Didn't Carney also call Brennan Johnson  "Brendan" in the first half? Easily done I suppose.
