Rhys Williams looks a decent shout, especially considering that Liverpool only want a ‘nominal’ fee for him. Potential for development there. Also, with Dickos’ rumour about us being in for Shepard, from Barnsley, it makes for a very interesting centre back group:

  When Anderson came in his positional play in and around  the penalty area  and no nonsense clearing of the ball quicker helped to reduce the problem, but this season we are a level and a big jump in class of strikers higher.

Another possibility Jack Kingdon , 19 years old, central defender is being allowed to leave Man Utd, anybody wanting him will have to pay a youth development fee.

Will they? if he's being allowed to leave then that suggests they haven't offered terms. There's only a fee if the player rejects equal or greater terms isn't there?

Maybe you are right Janso, but my understanding was that even if released a fee has to be paid for the development costs while he has been at the club, even if released. This is decided by a tribunal or can be agreed between clubs.
