An aspect to any attack minded players game that usually ticks a box and endears themselves to fans, is tracking back and getting tackles in. Working for the team.

It's a factor in how Gibson is perceived and is possibly why Hurst was farmed out on loan. For all the attacking intent they may have, fans will be more patient with them if they are seen to get 'stuck in'.

Has a lot of potential, he can play either on the wing or up front. To be on the bench in a European final, tells you that Spurs rate him highly. It shows as a club we must have a good reputation for them to loan him to us.
Isn’t it amazing that a player who was on the bench in a European Cup Final is coming to spend a season with the mighty Doncaster Rovers. I had to stop and take that in really.
Fabulous intentions from Rovers. Really hope the folk of Donny buy over 7,000 in season tickets, club deserve it.

Have you forgot Matthew Craig?

Ryan Mason was much more than just “ok”.

Mason was brilliant, as was Matty Craig. Sterling less so. Just watched Ajayi’s interview, it’s impossible not to warm to his enthusiasm. This is a big step for him but let’s hope he proves ready for it. Seems a really likeable lad.

Was expecting him to be a big tall snd imposing lad but he is only 5'9.. Whereas he could turn out to be the brilliant signing we have come to expect from GMC  there is too little information to form an opinion until we see him.play. At 19 years he probably has some pace and maybe destined to be our super sub to bring on when the oppo is tiring.
Alfie wasn't a tall lad and he did OK, sadly given away.
