Went out to Bradford Park Avenue on loan last season and did very well to go up in standard to Peterborough Sports where he did enough for them to want him back this season , so well done Sam you made your first mark and enjoy this season and carry on the progress.
For those unfamiliar with Peterborough Sports they are one of the smaller clubs in the national North League, and are somewhat playing above their norm , and doing it well in a league that has full time teams and attract bigger support.
Worth a visit if your that way out

I must be missing something... When would someone playing for a National North club play against a League 1 club? FA Cup is possible of course, but the odds against it happening are pretty big.

I thought the rules are always that a loanee can't  play  in matches his parent club. Has that changed?!

There are no specific rules in relation to that it’s more terms that are set by the parent club

A great chance to see how he goes against a side that he knows well. He at least knows that he won’t get kicked out of the game plus a chance to further impress his own club’s coaches in the flesh against decent opposition.

Ah... Silly me. A friendly. Of course!

I'd  let him play if P'Boro want to pick him. See how he does.

Get him doing 45 minutes for each side, see how switched on he is.

He should not be allowed to play in this one, purely because of the potential for him to be involved in any incident where one of our players sustains a lengthy injury.
He a young lad and could be seriously affected by any such potential situation.

Yes appreciate any such scenario could occur during internal training, but playing for an opposing team, even though it’s only a friendly, creates a different scenario.

Alternatively he should be playing as much as possible, especially against higher level players to test himself.

Unlike you Tony, I acknowledge my slips. You? All you do is spout shite all the time with never either apology or acknowledgement.
