International weekend breaks
« on July 01, 2025, 10:50:51 am by selby »
With new signings making their mark in international teams, will we be a regular side that has a number of breaks during the season?

Firstly for Leagues 1 and 2 the following international Breaks could mean further postponements depending on the number of call-ups teams are subject to:

1–9 September 2025

6–14 October 2025

10–18 November 2025

23–31 March 2026

In addition if any clubs make the third, fourth, or subsequent rounds of the FAC then their matches on those Saturdays will also be postponed:

FAC 3 Saturday 10 January.

FAC 4 Saturday 14 February.

FAC 5 Saturday 7 March.

What likely internationals do we have? Grehan and possibly O’Riordan?

Outrage if they are rescheduled midweek.

Mansfield Away is 09/08 , I think you mean Bradford Home 06/09

The only way the rescheduled games won’t be midweek is if they are played on FA Cup weekend when say us and Bradford were out and both of the teams we were due to play were still in

But if there are call ups, for ours or the opposition, then the games will need to be rescheduled, and other than a blank cup weekend, when else is there?

It’s disappointing if it means some can’t get to the midweek games (me included), but hardly an “outrage”..

Surely if our players are getting called up, and we are competing in a league where others do too, that’s not a bad thing.?
