Not right struck.

Haven't we had a similar one recently?

Not dissimilar to the one worn in the curtailed season 2019/20. Ramsey and Co.

I've seen alot worse away kits.

This is not a fashion show! I read it as being the club explaining openly for the first time to Rovers fans , that Club Doncaster is a community of three clubs and the triangle is a ( very ) subtle symbol of togetherness. .I hope we will not deny that Terry Btamall deserves credit and support for putting his money not only into Rovers  but into all three community clubs .
Or maybe I read too much into things .

I quite like it. I don’t usually buy an away shirt as I always get a home one and don’t get to as many away games as I’d like to. But I might get one of those, and hopefully a few more away games this season!

I loved that one & love this one !

Already bought the white keeper top, looks like I'll be buying a second shirt this year.

Seems to be recurring theme with Oxen.

Save time and money by just copying old away / third kits.

That looks great! I'm sure plenty of fans will buy that. Generally, I have preferred the away kits to the home kits for some reason.

That’s mumbo jumbo nonsense about triangles being a symbol of togetherness. End of the day the aim of the shirts is to sell them so yeah it kind of is a fashion show in that regards.

Thumbs up here. The best thing about it are the colours, they are very strong, perfect compliments. The logo and badges look fantastic. If only the numbers were the same colour... assuming they're not. Also, a nod to ye olde yellow and blue of the Tam O'Shanter era!

Was the famous African Violet kit on the blue side of the spectrum? I never saw it at the time and no colour photos exist that I’ve seen.

The flowers can be either a bluish shade or nearer to pink. But I don’t imagine anything even vaguely resembling pink would have been worn in the early/mid 70s.

Of course they are. Gone are the day of bibs and skins. The shirts are designed to make people want to buy them. How many people buy into retro shirts etc. it’s not because they want to wear a shirt from the 98 season it’s the style/design. Fashionable

Like it!

Speaking of away shirts, it amused me that York City took inspiration from one of Doncaster's most famous creations...

Never did understand why the Railway museum had to be in York. Not only Donny, but Swindon, Crewe, Derby, even Darlington or Brighton, would have been far more in keeping. All York ever built was carriages and DMU's. Swindon even had a decent railway museum that had to shut down when York took its exhibits.

BobG

PS. Over the last 30 ish years though Swindon has built up another very aceptable railway museum. It's called "Steam' and it's in part of the old GWR Works. If you're into that kind of thing it's well worth a visit.

Why has Donny never done that eh????

The blue & white hooped shirt is the away shirt I still see more of (could be that it’s more distinguishable than others) both at away & (for reasons best known to those who choose to do so) at some home games.

Seen lots of ‘kiddies’ wearing them too. Not sure how they were acquired.

We've done the blue and white hoops twice (or technically three times) in the past few years Usher - 23/24 was the recent one so most of the kids will have those, but we had the almost identical kit from 23/24 in 07/08 and 08/09 so a few retro-folk will have it too.
