Hurst being moved on, GM thinks we have 4 better than him. Fair enough, but we are losing talent. Good luck to the lad.

Are we? For the life of me I can’t remember him putting in double digits of good performances for us since he’s been here, he hasn’t developed either physically or mentally as far as I can see.

In League 2 he’s played 87 games over 3 seasons and scored 11 goals. Average just under 4 per season in the league. Now he doesn’t put enough work in closing down or defending but he can occasionally with the ball at his feet on a run look good.
Comparison to Jordan who can be up a down as well in goals scored is 45 games and 6 goals. But Jordan can put in the work and will have to improve next season.
GM as made his decision and therefore hopefully Kyle will find a club as he won’t get games for us.
With the addition of two we hopefully will have better

Always thought he was a good player who would be handy against the type of defensive teams we struggled with last season. But when you go on loan to Scotland and can’t show much it’s not a great advert.

Best for everyone if he moves on. But he’s another one who signed a new deal and within about 2weeks was on the never again list. At some point we have to stop doing that it’s expensive!

Where has this come from? Latest I can see is a comment from McCann saying we're looking to loan him out. That's very different from him being moved on, although I'd be surprised if we see him in a Rovers shirt again admittedly.

Good luck to him if he moves on. Shame he hasn’t kicked on as he appeared to have a real raw talent when he arrived but unfortunately hasn’t progressed.

Fair enough- though I saw the clip the story is about and took it as Grant saying Hurst was free to go out on loan. Think that is Ricky filling out his word count for the week imo.

Moving him on entirely would be a strange one after handing him a new deal last season.

Yes, I got the impression he said he was going to try and fix him up, which indicates a loan but, he also inferred he doesn't really have a future with the personnel we now have.

I did actually cross my mind, he might be one of the many players having trials at the mo, if McCann has given him permission for this.

Handing him a new deal was probably more about getting a fee for him if possible

McCann confirmed to Free Press last night that Hurst could move on loan or permanently. He’s open to both but if it is permanent then there is a fee going to be required.

There isn’t half some soft people in here if you are getting upset by that. If you lose your sense of humour what have you got left. No one is discrediting his career by making an eye joke that he has probably heard himself and laughed about 100 times before

Regardless whether you find it funny or not, it’s factually correct.

It's got bugger all to do with a sign of the times, getting offended or being factually correct. As a joke it's in poor taste and also leaves you open to all on here thinking you take the piss out of anyone with a physical impediment.

Not a good character trait to have fella.

We’re all weird and different, even the able bodied. We just need to agree we don’t see eye to eye.
