I’m not sure about anyone else Bri but the YouTube link didn’t work for me.

I assume you mean Harry Gregg?

I’m sure he is recognised by the club and by fans as a true Rovers legend but is there something specific you wanted to be done?

Hi Neil ..no not specifically but it strikes me that when we open a Legends dimension to the club we should recognise when there are individuals who had a special significant place in our history as Harry Gregg was a giant of a hero in his era.
My only possible ‘value’ is to bring you younger generations into the window of awareness of this ex Rover’s extraordinary and legendary contribution in his life .

The second best keeper I've seen in my entire life after Gordon Banks.

The fact that we received a world record transfer fee ever paid for a keeper at that time tells you everything.

My Dad would echo your comment entirely and wholeheartedly Scawsby. Harry, Alick and Ian Snodin - not only the best 3 players he ever saw playing for the Rovers, but 3 players who stood out in absolutely any company.

Jack Lambert with Harry Gregg is the player who has probably reached the highest of any Doncaster player in the game.
Transferred for the large sum at the time of £2000 to Arsenal the player born in Greasborough won two first division championships the FA cup and the Charity Shield playing centre forward for probably at the time the best club side in the world, and was a  prolific scorer of goals during their great period.
I have never seen his name even mentioned in any Doncaster Rovers book and only know of him as my father watched him play for the Rovers as a very young lad, and also being an avid Arsenal fan all his life he was his special hero playing for both clubs who he supported all his life, and when I used to mention my heroes at the Rovers he used to say you never saw Lambert and Jordan.
Lambert played 44 games for the Rovers scoring 13 goals.
For Arsenal played 143 scored 98  including 12 Hat Tricks and still holds the single game scoring record for Arsenal scoring 5 in a game v Sheffield United.
Clarrie Jordan is the record goal scorer in a season for Doncaster Rovers.

Ted Sagar left Rovers for Everton and won a championship medal in the same side as Dixie Dean, 1932 I think. Sam Cowan also left Rovers for Man. City and had a good career.
