Civic reception

Just looking at the photo of the remaining lads and it looks a bit pathetic to be honest.

Numerous players crucial to the success and not honoured.

They won it as a squad and should have been honoured as a squad. Piss poor

Do you think the players are that bothered?

They got their win bonuses, some probably got better contracts due to promotion. Others that are no longer here, Street, TSL are all in a better place both financially and footballing wise.

Move on, new season just about to start!

Whispering Ted ended up with a Euro winners medal presumably.

It's not always about the money.

Would the players want to come or would their new clubs let them miss training to come?

Usher wide.

They were all honoured in The Sal that Saturday afternoon mush, amongst the supporters, singing, drinking & sharing their thoughts.

They all have their medals to remember what turned out to be the sweetest of seasons.

Footballers come & go. We wish them all well ( except when they play against us!) & they’ll all get a warm reception from the Rovers supporters when they come to the Eco.

Time to move on now & ‘write the next chapter’ with what will hopefully become a ‘new group of Rovers heroes’.
