Mansfield tickets?
« on July 27, 2025, 09:38:13 am by swain_drfc »
Still no word on Mansfield away tickets from the club and it is now less than 2 weeks away. We’ve had info about Port Vale away on August 23rd but nothing for our first away day of the season.

Am I wrong in assuming that this is down to Mansfield being unorganised rather than ourselves?

My guess for the delay would be because of the new stand. Sure it’s close to being completed?

With the new points system taking longer to get through, general sale could end up being the same week as the match.

Mansfield are selling tickets to their fans and the away stand has been blanked out.

Can only assume, as mentioned above, that there is work being completed on the away stand ?

Just had a word with my Mansfield supporting mate, he was amazed tickets aren't on sale and says he's not aware of any work on away stand.
Wonder what's amiss?

It's not the away stand that's having work done on it, Phil. It's that little side stand that's been closed for years.

Work is complete on the side stand seats are in place, but not full capacity yet 200 or so fitted. As I said my Mansfield supporting friend can't understand why tickets aren't on sale yet

Thanks for the tip Rich, was thinking of parking at train station but just checked & Sainsbury’s only half a mile, 11 mins walk & can prebook. Just booked as well!

I thought more would have been sold by this point. Maybe a few are waiting to buy with mates once the point system decreases. Either that or the £30 has put a few off

Waiting to buy tickets with mates isn’t usually a problem at away games as more often than not people just sit (or stand) where they want to.
Not many people complain when their seats are occupied by someone else by the time they get to them.

I tweeted Rovers to ask why they still haven't bothered to tell anyone an adult and u17 ticket combined is £30 and not £50.

800 sold so far.

I mean to make sure their mates actually get one. If you have a mate who doesn’t have a season ticket and only goes to away games, it may stop you going if it means going by yourself.

It’s been updated on the website where it shows you the prices on the article.

A few might take the offer up but can’t attach a kid ticket for free due to the point system anyway. As above some may be waiting until it’s dropped to their kids ticketing points.

Yeah, that’s fair enough mate.

Got my 3 today. Apparently, there are about 500 tickets still left, so no panic for those waiting for general sale on Wednesday.
