Mo Faal starts for the Valiants.

Midfield needs to be on it picking up second balls from his first touch.

That might be the job for Bailey today, just in front of the back 4

When Bailey and Broadbent were together Tuesday night they were superb as soon as Broadbent went off and Crew came on the midfield wasn’t as good. Ajayi didn’t do himself any good either.
Can’t see why Ironside is not given a chance especially with Middleton on the left.

I’d like to see Middleton , molly and gibbo behind sharp and keep interchanging, they would cause any team at this level problems

Ajayi is always more of a threat than Joe, he is too slow and spends his time giving a wrestling match with centre halves without looking to score.

Vale keeper looks like Micky Murphy from Camberwick Green.

We’ve started well. Better team so far. Vale doing some good work stopping our wingers though.

We’ve been putting the smallest bloke on the pitch to mark Faal on corners

Port Vale playing very well. We’re second best everywhere. Some work from Grant to do… It’s a shame Ironside isn’t even on the bench. I’d have given him a go today, off the bench.

Rovers are not getting out of their half without a loose pass giving it away.

We need to get to HT at 0-0 and regroup.

Looks like it's time for TLT to go down with cramp.

We seem to be missing the Sterry/Molyneux partnership.
