A sticker on the rear window, ‘Running in, Please Pass’.

A little sticker in Back window with "Don't follow me , follow the Rovers"

Dozens of triangular shaped stickers each with a different " resort" like Bridlington , Filey , Lake District

AA and RAC metal emblems mounted on the front bumper or radiator grill.

If fact, who ever sees a bumper these days?!

In your case, it was more like Dick and Vacant.

In many cases , good looks especially the ev / hybrids of late . Mind I cite a deep red Alfa Romeo Guila as exception to this rule . King Arthur couldn't pull me out of it  if I owned one

My Giulia Veloce is Misano Blue. I've had it nearly six years now which is far longer than any other car I've owned and I still absolutely love it.

Another Italian model the Lancia Delta especially in its Works rally Martini team colours, just timeless styling.

Halfords still have them, I've got one in my car.

Someone, somewhere around where I live has a yellow one. I occasionally see it, love the aggressive styling, the ultimate hot hatch.

If I won the lottery there is a company in Italy building replica Lancia 037s, with Ferrari running gear. They cost an absolute fortune.

For a while I worked in an office in Holland Park. Someone had parked a lovely Lancia Fulvia on the street nearby. It never seemed to move, shook my head every time I walked past it.

There's a Fulvia sat in a yard in Wootton Bassett that's just aching to be rescued....

I would, but I've already got 2 Busso engined Alfas and another, sadly mega expensive, car. The Fulvia would be a car too far.

Smart looking motor that, RD.  These Italians know a thing or two about styling.

Audi Quattro Sport was also a truly inspiring vehicle. Unfortunately Audi has become the favoured brand of every d**khead on the M25.
