Bradford tickets or Spurs

Judging from the slow sales for Bradford it looks like Spurs tickets and coaches are the drain .

1,406 left in the West and East, don’t think that’s too bad? Will be a similar attendance to Rotherham if not more with there being 3,000 away fans.

I can’t make it as I’m off to England vs Andorra at Villa park 17:00 KO, if it was 19:45 I’d of done both games.

Unless ticket sales pick up dramatically there will be nowhere close to the number of home fans for Saturday compared to the Rotherham game. I find this puzzling and a little disappointing. It’s hard not to conclude that supporters are prioritising Spurs tickets. Surely the league is more important however glamorous the Spurs tie?!

I would agree although the only other factor might be it being a 3pm kick off gives folk a bit more time to decide and buy tickets.

Maybe the cost of the three games to shell out for in quick succession means some are being more selective.

What an absolutely ridiculous suggestion. Why on earth would you give your opponents a third of your ground? May as well offer to play both fixtures at Valley Parade. Christ.

Yes one is a local derby 12 miles apart that's not happened for 3 years. The other is still a Yorkshire derby but with next to zero rivalry. Of course Bradford are bigger and will fetch more.

I find it amazing how tribalism can turn to cutting your nose off to spite your face by limiting rival fans' numbers which equates to financial loss.
To smash the paradigm,if that is the way of thinking, just go to see the effect on the atmosphere when Milan shares the San Siro stadium with Inter twice a season for the derby .
I remember reading that Sunderland  took a following of 8000 to Blackpool one New Year’s Day game !

We have had quite a lot of games in a short period of time. If 9000 people wanted to go every week we would have 9000 season ticket holders wouldn’t we?

I haven't watched England for years, its so boring.

I dont think it is panic stations on the attendance and all doom and gloom, there has been, quite a few home games on the trot and a spurs game coming.

It's amazing the out of control reactions on here, 1 player has a bad game they a rubbish, 1 loss from us we will get relegated, we get a lower than hoped crowd but we'll above where we have been for years and its worrying.

As a club we are in a great position, signs are great going forward, enjoy the ride, get behind the club, get behind the players.

Tomorrow will be a really tough one. Fingers crossed.

Tickets are allocated way before the date of the game and before we drew Spurs. I thinks it right we leave more room for home fans when it's difficult to predict the take up weeks in advance. Given where both clubs are, you'd think it would come fairly close to matching the take up for last seasons penultimate match.

Perspective though, things are still positive but I'm thinking ahead when, iif we get to the championship, are we going to grow at the required rate to be competitive (relatively speaking) ?

Anyway, that's for another day.

There’s still plenty of time for a sales boast tomorrow. It won’t be far off rotherham when we had around 9k home fans. Probably end up being 500/600 down but like some have said, 3 home games in succession isn’t cheap for some people and probably doesn’t help. End of the day, if we average around 8.5k home fans for the season it’s something to build on going forward

We had just over 8.000 average last season and will easily hit 9000 average attendance this I believe in view of the number of derbies and Northern opponents .

My 7 year old daughter went to Mansfield away and also wanted to do an England game, she likes Harry Kane, but likes Billy Sharp more!

This was the only game with a decent KO time for her and it’s not a trek down to Wembley.

Half the ground barely clap never mind sing, it would hardly be comparable to the Milan derby for Christ's sake. McCann wanted to limit them to 1500 last season because he obviously thought 3000 might have more of an impact, never mind 5000. Couldn't care less what other clubs do, quite frankly. 3000 is enough away fans in a ground our size.
