Does anyone think that when Kelly broke and passed wide for the winning goal, the Barnsley player would have had the time he got to compose himself and get the shot off like he did with the ginger marker after him. I think it was Mickey Mellon he chased down who ran us ragged for Morecambe a couple of seasons ago. Bobby also had what would have been an equalising goal harshly disallowed with a great volley into the corner of the net late in the game.
Saw the Bobby tackle Selby, he showed great strength, pace and composure to get there. I think we’ve made a mistake not cashing in on McGrath and bringing Bobby back in the fold alongside O’Riordan, Pearson and Grehan. Glad he’s doing well up at Harrogate.

He was brilliant for us last season, fans would of gone into meltdown if we sold him, club would of been labelled has having no ambition. Its unfortunate that jay hasnt started great this season but lets get behind him, not throw him down the river and shout get rid.Bobby needed the harrogate loan, it has massivly helped his career.

His value has probably divided by ten since then, so in a business sense it was the wrong decision. He’s fourth choice here now so can’t really even play his way back in to form, but based on last years form he’s been our most disappointing player - he’s heavy and slow and looks panicked for me, and if Bobby was here, based on how they’ve both performed this year, he’d be fifth choice - competing with Flint who’s also been good. He’ll have my support as always when he’s on the pitch though.
Bobby picked up an injury right at the end of the game Tuesday and is out for a while, the injury is still being assessed. It could well be the New year when he is fit again.
Think he'll be past his best by then CBcb...
